Nice to Meet You, Walden Schmidt

The clouds have parted and we now see that Jon Cryer has always been the center of Two and a Half Men. Sure Charlie Sheen had more of the cheap jokes and one-liners. But substitute any other Hollywood star and the easy one-liners will still be funny. I have never really liked Ashton Kutcher but the incredible writers and director have made sure he fits in. Jake, Berta, Judith, and Mom are all peripheral to the predicaments of Alan. Thankfully CBS did not try to create another Charlie Harper. Eight seasons of Charlie was enough. With this fresh start, Two and a Half Men will probably last another eight seasons. Bravo CBS.

The episode showed clearly how Alan struggled to save the show, but ultimately the newcomer sadly portrays a bland mix between Jake and Charlie. The show is now Alan-centric, but lacking Sheen to balance and many times outsmart the good old Alan. The show without Charlie Sheen,dropped ultimately to cheap shots, like the size of Kuthcher's manhood. The show wasn't Charlie Sheen, but rather the relationship crafted by years of good acting between Bertha, his brother, little(no more) Jake, and his mother. Ashton will never replace Charlie, and the type of character does not live up to the expectations. A big part of the show was seeing Alan being outsmarted by a simpler yet brighter Sheen. I see no line for this type of jokes anymore.I hope they reconsider Sheen as a part of the show and hopefully get him back...

I don't understand the first 4 minutes. You see Chelsea and Courtney were talking very negative about Charlie. Why? There relationship with him was good. They supposed to cry or be just a little sad. Bad writing and it doesn't fit at all. The rest of the episode was decent but it was just not the same. Not bad but not that funny at all. The cameo with Dharma and Greg was funny and it was fun to see the postmen who was also from Dharma and Greg. Ashton's character: i don't know. He was boring in this episode. Next episode Rose is coming back to Malibu and she's gonna live together with her ex boyfriend Gordon. I hope it's gonna be a better episode. Damn, i miss Charlie.

No one could compensate for Charlies' outbursts. Ashton Kutcher was a poor choice as a replacement since the show would fall miserably and Kutcher is not much of an actor. They should have worked it out with Charlie instead of making him "dead"

Terrible... same as going to McDonalds and getting a pizza. It will suck, no doubt about it.
