    Where are the laughs?

I keep watching the show in the hopes of some good belly laughs . . . nothing yet. This is the worst episode so far, nothing funny. Please give us more Jake and less Walden who has got to be the unfunny character in the show.

There were so many different ways to replace Charlie, but I mean really a rich guy letting Alan live with him is nonsense. First rule of comedy is be believable. What's happened to Alan? He's become a complete moron of a moocher, with no shame at all. He barely even tries to hide his intentions. Sadly it is becoming clear that the chemistry that existed between Charlie, Alan and Jake is what made the show work, why? They were a dysfunctional family.

There really is no reason for this show to be.

    • Goofs
Alan takes Walden's rhodium and platinum ring to the pawn shop to sell and when the pawnbroker writes down what he's willing to pay for it, Alan has a panic attack. Rhodium is only worth a few hundred dollars more an ounce than gold and platinum is actually only worth about half the price of gold per oz so assuming the metals were mixed in equal proportion it would be worth less than a gold ring.

CORRECTION: The price of rhodium per troy ounce is far more than the price of gold and platinum. Rhodium is considered the world's most expensive precious metal.

Jake Harper: She was totally hitting on you.

      Walden Schmidt: Really?

Jake Harper: Yeah, you should ask her out.

      Walden Schmidt: Okay.

      [screaming]

Walden Schmidt: Hey, Zoe, do you wanna go on a date with me?

      Zoe: [off screen] Sure!

Walden Schmidt: See? There's something else I wouldn't know to put on the list!
