I actually watched it longer than I thought I would I've worked with many Persian men in my prime Primary in the Automotive business retailing highline Mercedes Benz. Range Rovers ECT. I loved it got to know The culture The habits The food.and most of all every thing there is to know about these particular Kinds of cars I was Floored I couldn't believe the way they spoke to each other the way that GG spoke to other people and her family if i was her Dad i would of slapped her right across her butt she should of gotten it from Dad.... ok ok I get it could of been scripted here and there but come on some people can not help themselves from being ignorant but speaking in that manner was appalling and talking to adults with no respect it would never happen in the homes of the parents I knew sad sad the Persian people I knew also said it wasn't very Forthcoming at all disappointed YES I must say I did love Asha and her family The Jewish Mike his Family Reza and his family and it really does matter how much your family loves and shares love some people can't ever change GG IS A NIGHTMARE A UNFORGIVING NIGHTMARE She should of been taken off the show the 1st season I stopped watching the 3rd season not worth it another minute.
4.7 stars.
I've seen several of the Kardashian seasons. I've also watched multiple seasons of Jersey shore. So is this any different? It's basically an amalgamation of the two aforementioned series. Is it as good as either one of them; not even close. It's about a bunch of Persian people who supposedly came over, or their parents came over from Iran. I don't have all the facts about when they came over, but supposedly they were poor at the beginning and then they were filthy rich. I don't think that 1+1 = 2 in this situation. In other words, there is definitely missing information. There must be a super wealthy benefactor who has created a following surrounding these people, and it's all fake. Anyways, just my theory, I haven't even researched for myself. What I do know is that this is a forgettable "reality" show with too much backstabbing and reprobates lined up out the doors...

This show is not a positive look on the Persian Americans in Los Angeles, California. They fled persecution, wars, and death in Iran to settle in Beverly Hills. Many of the cast mates are friends from Beverly Hills High School. Let's fact it, they're not normal in the first place. While I can only imagine the possible outrage from this show's existence, I find it interesting that Ryan Seacrest is in charge of production. Usually it's soul-less Andy Cohen but not this time. Hopefully unlike Cohen, Seacrest doesn't have painful reunion shows to watch. Anyway, the three women and three men have a balance. Reza is a Persian American homosexual real estate agent and his office mate and best friend is MJ, a Persian American woman. Asa is a Persian American woman and an artist who is probably my favorite. She's more concerned about her art rather than the others' opinions. Sammy and Mike are both Persian American and Jewish men in the show. Both men are interested in women not Persian nor Jewish. While this show is an interesting look into another culture and often a foreign land which is Los Angeles, the show does try to explain Persians who are really Iranians but they don't go by that. Anyway, this show has some moments but I'll watch this train wreck. It's not as bad as the housewives shows.
GG is extremely annoying... She says she hates ants and ugly people... when honestly she's not the BEST looking person out there. She's so rude to that one girl in the first episode and saying she isn't wearing something appropriate for a house party, when she was literally in a bathing suit?? ... the party was practically a pool party so like... what?? GG, MJ, and Reza are so rude when it comes to other people's styles... and it's funny to me because not everything they wear is cute?? Can we talk about that cheetah print green dress MJ wears in the first episode?? PLEASE... I agree with one of the other reviews that this is a bad copycat of KUWTK.... Sorry but you guys are trying way too hard.
Started watching them when they first started but for some reason the E Network dropped the franchise. I subscribed to Hayu so was able to binge watch from series 3-9 where I left off.
They were cute in 2014 but WTF? These people are continually fighting for air time to the point of ridiculousness. They are all liars, bad actors and narcissistic...
You just need to look at their traumatic upbringing's though to understand their drastically flawed personalities. They are so dysfunctional it's not even funny anymore.
Bunch of aging 50 year olds trying really hard not to grow up.
Really SAD 😔
