What a trip this short is! In approximately 12 minutes I went from cautious observer to feeling like I was an active participant, not the easiest thing to pull off yet The 5th Dimension manages quite naturally. This could definitely be expanded into more, but as it is it remains quite an experience!
These individuals took the time to make creativity come to fruition with this experimental film. Their passion to get the point across came through with flying colors. Art and self expression comes alive with creativity and imagination.
This has all the feel of a psychedelic acid trip from the sixties. I don't mean that in a negative light but instead a very positive one. I found myself wanting to understand the dynamics between these two entities that were at conflict through space and time. There seemed to be clues sprinkled through the entire film.
What was really nice is how Fate and the child is desperate to live, while Destiny doesn't seem to care, even when confronted with the fact that Fate was innocent, Destiny seemed to be predetermined in his actions. the end was a foregone conclusion. that is my interpretation at least.
I would love to see this explored more in a longer format where the creator can develop this concept of Fate and destiny further. Very interesting, I enjoyed it and like films like Pan's Labyrinth, I find myself talking about this long after i've seen it and trying to understand the nuances of the films meanings.
Small budget, so take that into consideration when you watch it, Maybe i'm over thinking it but that is my take.

The performances were good and I enjoyed the music and soundtrack. This film is worth your time!!
Obviously the filmmakers took had some fun with this short film and tried some high art concepts. The thing that makes this work is the constant strung of anticipation of how this is going to work out. Green screen work is decent and the effects are decent for a low budget film. Give it a shot. Recommend if you're into odd high art concepts or strange cinema.
