I was expecting to hate this series given that it is not really aimed at me (I am 64). However I find it genuinely witty without being the usual low-level smut that passes for comedy in many programmes and movies aimed at the 15-30 age group these days. The actors deliver their lines and play it at just the right level and it is good to see that there are writers about that can bring something , while not new, to the table that is above the level of the usual dross we are fed with. Anna Chancellor and Angus Deacon work well together as the parents of the pregnant daughter. Sean Verey as Jamie and Scarlett Alice Johnson as Laura make an engaging "couple" of expectant parents ably supported by Yasmin Paige and Dylan Edwards as Jamie's friends. It is refreshing to see "unknowns" (at least to me) making such a good job of comedy which would be easy to make a hash of.
We were captivated by Pramface from the first moments and delighted with the acting and timing of its young cast.
To have a funny, modern, endearingly lifelike story told without resort to the 'f' word every other breath was a delight. A second series was a real bonus. We told all our friends and hope they had as much fun as we did.
It has been the only programme worth watching on any channel in the last 12 months and lit up our week.
I am 71 and my husband is 78. Are we your oldest fans?
Thanks to all the cast for entertaining us so well.

Pramface is a show i constantly go back to rewatch. The actors are brilliant and the show is well written. The characters are hilarious and work brilliantly together. One of the BBC's best shows i highly recommend you give it a watch!
To start with, I'm an older Gent in my 50's and American. I enjoy some of the British series. I watched this series when it first came out and recently 're-found' it online. This was a series where casting was perfect. All of the characters really clicked and it was like real life. Who watched this series without rooting for Jamie and Laura to end up together? It was like watching a real life couple. Sadly, the series was left hanging when it was cancelled after 3 seasons. On a high note, the actors who played Jamie and Laura completed the series on their own. After the series ended, they had a baby of their own and later married. Now, they work together at a teaching school for the performing arts. I guess they got the storybook ending after all.

I have just finished watching all 3 series of Pramface on Hulu and I am very disappointed to find that there isn't (and won't be) a series 4. I often search the archives in vain to find, what I class as, a good comedy and stop watching the majority of them after just a few episodes as they are terrible. Pramface was well acted, kept me laughing and, best of all, kept me hooked. It had a very strong cast and I feel that it was good viewing for all age groups. I am 51 years old and have spent my life being entertained by Only Fools & Horses, The Vicar of Dibley and other great BBC classics like QI and Have I Got News for You etc and know a good comedy when I see one! I feel that the BBC commissioner has made a big error in not proceeding with this excellent show, while keeping other shows running that are far inferior. Shame on you BBC commissioner, you are out of touch with your viewing public!!
