I Am Alone

I loved this movie. It was a refreshing take on a two beat to death sub-genres. I went in knowing that it was a low-budget zombie flick playing the "found footage" card and it turned out way better than what I was expecting.

The budget (or lack thereof) really only shows in the CDC room (equipment is just too low-tech) and maybe on some zombie makeup closeups. There are a few shaky acting bits but Gareth David-Lloyd's performance as Jacob Fitts makes up for that.

All in all this is a well-written original story by Robert A. Palmer & Michael A. Weiss, IMHO. The GoPro shots are are also amazing. Outstanding indie horror filmmaking for sure. Kudos to all involved.

Went in with very low expectations, with the zombie genre being littered with trash. Came out overly impressed with a movie that was pretty original and very well put together, especially for Found Footage movies. Movie deserves more recognition. I just happened to come across it and glad I did. Definitely recommend seeing this one, you won't regret watching it.

I can't believe the high ratings for this crummy movie.

There is nothing salvageable whatsoever from this "found footage" film.

The acting is good enough, but that's about it.

Honestly, it's TERRIBLE. I don't want to spoil anything for you, if you actually wish to waste roughly an hour and a half of your life to watch this crap, but I SINCERELY DO NOT RECOMMEND IT.

Cut a finger and watch your own blood clot; THAT will be more exciting than sitting and watching this movie.

I am suprised that this film doesn't have a higher rating! The lower reviews must be from those that maybe don't get into this genre as much as I do. It's original, believable, good acting and continues to go in a direction I have yet to see up to this point which honestly is tough to do. I am always looking for something in this genre but rarely do I find something that makes me put my phone down and devote all of my attention. I really wasn't sure where it would end up and for me that's exciting and hardly ever happens! I would love to talk about what I loved but I don't want to spoil it for you. I watched half of the trailer just so I wouldn't see more than I wanted and I suggest to do the same. If this is your thing, I promise you wont be disappointed. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Cast is good story well written. The low budget didn't stop me from being sucked into this story. Would love to see a sequel!
