Couldn't believe I heard this correct...

In this episode, they're looking for a gang member called "Mayate", if they would've done due diligence, they wouldn't have used that name.... Ask any informed street Latino what that means, just my two cents. Wow, especially how sensitive the BLM group is, Ha!

    Thunder rolls

The partnership between Sherman and Bryant is on the verge of total dysfunction,. Ben's at full god complex while Sammy's been moody for weeks. It's not like this is inexplicable, but it's certainly worse than ever. They open 'The Felix Paradox' merrily tossing around Chuck Norris jokes and finish it standing watch at Sammy's house in case those gang bangers return (which Ben had a hand in). Their situation is a mess and you know it's coming to a head in no time.

But just as Sammy and Ben are about to implode, Lydia shows signs of growth by dropping in on Russell (Tom Everett Scott) and rekindling a rejected partnership. Same growth for Cooper when he answers his ex's plea for having a child. Given his turbulent season, this is a serious ray of hope.

And know how the next two episodes play out just makes it all the more devastating.
