Not for the inpatient
At first, I was wondering why the movie was so slow. Not much was happening. It seemed repetitive. After continuing to watch it, I started to understand (or think to understand) why the movie is made the way it is. You're supposed to feel what he feels to an extent. To live his life and to understand why certain emotions come out when they do. Because the movie is slow, you're able to build the emotions yourself. This makes me want to talk less and observer more because of how much I admire Hirayama.
The ending with the meeting at the river is a really special moment. Awesome.
This is a good movie.
