    It's just wonderful.

Beth is struggling to find anyone that can comprehend what she is going through, she meets up with the mother from The Sandbrook case. With Jack now out of the picture, the focus switches to Susan.

They have managed to maintain the sheer brilliance of this series the whole way through, how often do you watch a six or eight part series, and get a lull in the middle? There is none of that here.

I still cannot remember who the killer is, it's so long since I've seen it, the one person I hated here is Nige, he really is a monster.

It's nice to see the family operating as a unit, and having a moment where they escape the tragedy, not forgetting poor Danny, just living.

We're even left with a dramatic cliffhanger.

ITV have really gone backwards since this was made, 9/10.

Please tell me it gets better...

I just started pounding my way through the 1st six episodes of the first season and I can't believe they are still dragging out the same storyline! I started watching because of David Tennant but I am at the point where I really don't care anymore who killed the kid. I was never given the chance to form an emotional attachment to him anyway. Just tell me subsequent episodes get better before I turn it off for good!

It seems that I must write more. The story makes virtually every character a suspect. When it isn't implicating someone it is questioning Tennant's character's ability to solve the crime. It seems that our hero has clay feet. The only thing the audience is given is the killer has strong hands. The rest of the time is consumed by the ever so slowly developing relationship between Tennant and his female counterpart on the force.

    Yawn...

    Steps Forward

The situation is getting more and more intricate. I definitely love it! I also love the fact that the characters are humans, not super humans that knows and get everything in a second.

    Toxic Press

In watching this series. It shows how toxic the press can be. Printing half truths about people. Causing the deaths of innocent. I hope that Sensationalist seekingreporter gets her just deserts.

I Am Not Saying Anything More Until I Have Seen My Dog

So Walder Frey is dead. A meaningless death. Hardy takes an interest in the Vicar now. Taking his DNA. The Vicar makes a good point. 'You do not get to belittle my faith just because you have none.' Advice for the ages. In other words, mind your business. +1 Star

Hardy, who really to me is an ugly character, continues to hide his apparent medical condition.

Tom got Danny's skateboard. From the DOG LADY!!! We knew it was her all along!!!! The POLICE rush the DOG LADY'S HOUSE!!!

It's good to see Tom and his wife and daughter reconnecting as a family unit. Dog Lady refuses to cooperate until she gets to see her DOG.

Okay and they get what? A tip that the cliff house is/was being broken into and they go there alone?? Just Hardy and Miller? And a chase ensues? Okay that was incredibly dumb. Dumb Dumb Dumb, -1 Star

    5/10.

      DS Ellie Miller: Sir.

DI Alec Hardy: Tell me you've found the dog.

      DS Ellie Miller: No, but...

DI Alec Hardy: Find the dog! We need the dog! She won't talk without the bloody dog!

DS Ellie Miller: Sir, will you shut up for a second?

DI Alec Hardy: Did you just tell me to shut up?

DS Ellie Miller: Sir, front desk just had a call. There's been a break-in at the cliff-top hut.

DI Alec Hardy: The murder scene? That's sealed off!

DS Ellie Miller: Yeah, but someone's reported torchlight inside.

DI Alec Hardy: Don't stand there wittering, Miller. Come on!
