Bhaiyya Ji staring Manoj Bajpayee is the weakest movie of him I have seen in recent years. No questions on his acting skills but poor editing, direction and execution has made the film weak. Without the background story of the character i.e Bhaiyya ji his fear seems exaggerated and over-hyped. During fight sequences also I felt some scenes are illogical which I won't expect from MB. Why Bhaiyya ji's younger brother showed as step brother is also not understandable? Real brother and mother would have made his pain more authentic. Also missed good background score and music in the film which can make it more powerful.

This type of revenge stories has been viewed dozens of times since 80s, so nothing new. A power crazy Bahubali and his violent prone son doing harm to the hero's family member, awakening a retired Bahubali to avenge the wrong. This kind of movie is not suited to an actor of Manoj Bajpai's caliber. The slow motion single handed fighting effect, leaping great distance in a single bound seen in numerous Sunny Deol/Salman Khan or south indian type masala films. Usually the hero facing adversity, is isolated and supposedly weaker than the villain, you than have the thrill of a David vs Goliath battle. Here it seems the hero has lots of support from all around so he is by no means the proverbial underdog.
Talk about a miscast. The main villain looked like somebody's munimji close to retiring from his job. No personality whatsoever. There was no build up of his character either to portray his power, just the standard violence that comes with a gangster movie. So, it felt like you are in the middle of the story right from the beginning. Dialogues were pedestrian at best. In short, run of the mill masala film without the mainstream star cast.

No plot and a lack of story development that fails to engage or captivate the audience.
"Bhaiya Ji" disappoints with its lack of plot and coherent storyline. Despite a charismatic lead, the film suffers from disjointed scenes and uninspired dialogues. The titular character, who could have been fantastic, flounders without depth or development. Direction and pacing are lackluster, with humor often missing the mark. Technical aspects, like cinematography fail to impress. Overall, "Bhaiya Ji" squanders its potential, leaving viewers frustrated and wishing for a more engaging and cohesive narrative.

There have been multiple movies where I have wondered why Manoj B agreed to pick them up. He's an absolutely stellar performer and one of the best industry has ever seen.
When he makes the choice to be part of movies like this or Silence it really discredits his talent. For a man who worked in Pinjar, Veer Zara or The Family Man - this movie is an absolute joke. It's outdated and over the top. It's like a 90s Bollywood movie crossed with a crass movie from the South. And not in a good way.
Manoj B - if you ever read this. Please don't do yourself a disservice by signing up for this mediocre stuff. You are an asset to the otherwise sunk Indian movie industry.

Only watched it because of Manoj Bajpayee, and can say it is his worst movie ever. Have big respect for him and I really hope he doesn't do a similar one again. Very weak story, BAD action, weak plots. Very poorly directed movie, the way different scenes are connected they just don't carry any meaning and seem to be added just randomly. The start of movie is the only part that is somewhat good but then the rest of the story is a total disaster. They keep creating hype of Bhaiyya jee as a character but the way it is portrayed in the movie it does not come out the way it should - not even close. It was a total torture to watch this movie. Pleas avoid if you can.
The movie could have been so much better. It appeared to be a mix of some Sunny Deol movie, Animal, Bhojpuri movie and Rajneekanth movie, but it lacked authenticity. Manoj Bajpai's character as Bhaiyya Ji was unable to create that level of fear as was expected. He rather appears as a normal person who is making mistakes after mistakes, and getting hurt every now and then. He rather appears as a weak personality who is taking instructions from his mother and is dependent on his fiancée's shooting skills to save him several times. Some scenes were meaningless and could not understand the logic behind them. The whole fear about that Lion symbol, people passing that antique piece of lion symbol everywhere had no strong impact and was totally meaningless, and nothing changed in the story after that. The whole village gathered together to take revenge, and then all the fights were done by Manoj Bajpai and his two followers. The action was mediocre, nothing that we had not seen earlier. Zoya as Bhabhi Ji was ok, at least she looked lovely and tried to break the stereotype of size 0 heroine, and there was no overacting by her. How can an action masala film have no memorable dialogue? Dialogue writing was so poor that I am writing this review immediately after watching this movie....and can't remember even a single dialogue. I was expecting some solid dialogues, and even better dialogues which we have heard many times like "Ek Bihari sab pe bhaari" or "Zindagi Jhandwa, fir bhi ghamandwa" that has some recall value...but none in this movie. Even the language seems confusing..neither seems like proper bihari/bhojpuri/hindi and I could not understand whether the villains were Delhi boys, or Haryanvi or Rajasthani... accents of father, sons and friends all were mixed up. Bhaiyaa Ji's weapon as Fawda/Spade looked very funny to me as in the whole movie, most shootings were done by Bhabhi Ji's gun than by Bhaiya Ji's Fhawda. The title should have been "Bhaiya Ji Ser toh Bhaujai Savaser" Anyway, I am a very busy person and wasted my Friday night watching this movie just because there were no IMDB reviews hopefully my review will help some like-minded people who prefer to spend a few minutes reading some reviews and ratings before spending 2-3 hrs on watching a movie.

Utter Disappointment
Very Poor Direction.
Action Director and Movie Director should leave the industry.
Had a lot of expectations after watching the trailer.
But disgusted after watching the movie.
Don't know why Manoh Bajpeyi choose this movie.
Its completely waste of time and money.
The kind of movie they produced, it should have been name as Bhaiya Ji with Bhabi Ji with Padosi Ji with ...Ji and ....Ji
Weekend wasted on this movie.
This will be the worst movie of Manoj Bajpeyi.
I don't have any more words to describe how worst this movie is.
Radhe seems to be more interesting in front of this movie.

Manoj bajpayee should avoid such movie. It fails to live up to its grandiose title. The plot is a disjointed mess, attempting to juggle multiple storylines but ultimately achieving nothing substantial. The characters are one-dimensional and lack any real development, making it impossible to care about their fates. The dialogue is painfully clichéd, and the attempts at humor fall flat, often resulting in more cringes than laughs. The special effects, meant to dazzle, instead come off as tacky and cheap. Overall, this film is a forgettable experience that squanders its potential on a shallow script and uninspired execution. Save your time and skip this one.

The beginning was very good, the introduction was also amazing, but the kind of intro given, Bhaiya ji did not get that kind of action, watching the beginning, I felt that Bhaiya ji is a gangster figure, but by the end, it was like a one man show. The gangster background that was mentioned in the beginning got lost somewhere. The rest which was created hype in the beginning slowed down till the interval. The songs were relatable, the acting was good as per the storyline, but here his acting was a bit suppressed, the script missed the kind of hype that should have been given as per the character.

This movie left me with a strong impression of disappointment, primarily due to its weak scripting and story writing. From the outset, it was apparent that the narrative lacked coherence and depth, which became increasingly evident as the story unfolded. Some scenes seemed completely disconnected from the main plot, leaving the audience confused and questioning their relevance. The storyline felt unnecessarily stretched, leading to a sense of tedium rather than engagement.
One of the critical failures of this movie was its inability to deliver a logically consistent and engaging story. The plot was riddled with inconsistencies, and many sequences felt forced, as if they were added just to prolong the runtime rather than to contribute to the narrative arc. This was particularly evident in the action scenes, which, despite being visually impressive, lacked a logical foundation. They often felt over-the-top and out of place, failing to align with the overall storyline or the characters' development.
The initial hype created for the main character was another letdown. The movie began with a promising introduction, building anticipation for a complex and dynamic protagonist. However, as the story progressed, this potential was squandered. The character's journey did not culminate in a satisfying manner, leaving a significant gap between the early expectations and the final delivery. The character arc felt incomplete, and the emotional investment in the protagonist was not adequately rewarded.
Direction and screenplay are the backbone of any film, guiding the audience through the story and shaping their experience. Unfortunately, in this movie, both elements were fraught with faults. The direction lacked vision and coherence, leading to a disjointed narrative flow. The screenplay did not do justice to the story's potential, with dialogues that often felt clichéd and uninspired. The pacing was erratic, with some scenes dragging on while others felt rushed, disrupting the overall rhythm of the movie.
However, the film was not without its merits. The technical aspects were handled with a degree of competence that was absent in the story and direction. The color grading was particularly noteworthy, enhancing the visual appeal of the movie and creating a mood that was, at times, more engaging than the plot itself. The editing, too, was sharp and professional, managing to maintain a sense of continuity despite the script's shortcomings. These elements combined to give the movie a polished look, which, unfortunately, could not compensate for the underlying narrative flaws.
Cinematography was another area where the movie excelled. The visual composition of scenes was often stunning, with careful attention to detail and a keen eye for framing. The use of lighting and camera angles added a layer of aesthetic pleasure, making some sequences visually memorable even if they lacked substance. The cinematographer's skill was evident in the way scenes were shot and presented, contributing to the movie's overall visual strength.
In conclusion, while the movie boasted high-quality technical execution in terms of color grading, editing, and cinematography, these elements could not salvage the fundamentally flawed story. The narrative was weak and incoherent, with a disjointed script and direction that failed to bring the characters and their journeys to life. Action scenes, though visually striking, were implausible and did not fit seamlessly into the plot. The hype built around the main character at the beginning was never fulfilled, leaving a sense of dissatisfaction.
Ultimately, the movie serves as a reminder that even the most visually stunning films require a solid foundation of storytelling and character development. Without these crucial elements, the audience is left with a sense of what could have been, rather than a truly engaging cinematic experience. While the film's technical prowess is commendable, it is not enough to overcome the deficiencies in its story and direction, making it a forgettable addition to the genre. The story is fundamentally baseless and fails to make much sense, rendering the movie an overall disappointment.

The way story was delivered is very Nice . Full on Desi - tadka with dialogues. The authority with dialogues and scenes are very good . It's amazing to see India's Best actor in this avatar . Super Direction and super Heroism with thé emotions of every frame . Worth watch movie which gives direct competition to south Industry with the direction and acting . At this age of Manoj Bajpayee with this kind of Action movie is Very commendable. Hoping to see him in this avatar again . Bhaiyya ji is the only hope for industry in which we can see the acting and Directing in such a beautiful way .

Movie is good, story is good.action and slow motion sequence are like a typical Bollywood movie.
Movie story telling is poor, whole movie is have too much of manoj vajpayee.
They want to make emotional, thriller kgf and animals like movie but didn't reach to it.
Story building is so poor, even a child of 5 years could understand the movie.
Movie is not able joint the sequence,if you want to make a simple man to violence person, you have to show in movie, why he was a violence person in past.
If you want to help the soul, you can't just that something is attached to him and than put a clip to justify it.
Character was not buildup correctly.
Sister in law in the movie is good in action sequences, she justify the character but also there is lack of charcter buliding, which is not shown in the movie or they edited badly.
Most important part ,the villan part, they give a good start, and then just not able to use there power because election is around, just look in tevar movie, how bad a_s is manoj Bajpai in that movie,no fear of police and that kind of villan is true justified in movie.
Again I am saying, movie is good for fans of manoj.

Aise ghatiya director, writer or action director se bhagwan hi hume bacha sakta hai...
Please bhagwan, aise ghatiya film maker se bacha lijiye hume...
Full nonsense movie...
Film ka naam bhi nonsense hona chahiye tha.
Bhaiya ji yeh, bhaiya ji woh... All Bhaiya ji is a tatti. His big gang is only for the exposure in cinematic scenes and songs. In the fights he's all alone, fighting against hundreds of enemies. He carries a. He carries a shovel against enemies with guns. Are we really clap in this idiocy?
Honestly! This is a joke of a movie. And I don't have laughs for the people who have enjoyed and rated 10/10 for such a nonsense.
Pure film me ek Mitali (Zoya Hussain) ki acting hi accha or smart laga or character bhi.

The utter stupidity being incarnated from what could have been the origin of one fantastic characters own trilogy is just disappointing. The movie lacks story, plot, logic, physics and meaning.
Don't get me wrong, now the movie started off brilliantly, in a brief scene building up a revenge story. Not wasting too much time on the cause, the narrative is quickly shifted towards the protagonist who is given great reason to go against some restrictions he had kept for himself.
The movie definitely seems to have taken inspiration from John Wick, but had enough going to make it seem original.
The dialogues were just brilliant and delivered with such grace and emotion. The actors did a great job as well, perfectly portraying the intended emotion per scene and kewpie invested. Even the cinematography was fantastic for some scenes. Where the movie went for a toss however was when the director of the movie decided to direct the movie. Good lord, there were soo many slow motion scenes in the movie, you could watch the movie in 4x speed and still not miss a thing. Unrealistic scenarios were the biggest problem. The director just did not know how to stitch scenes and make sense of a situation. This led to characters resorting to random actions and sequences just so that the story could make sense. You start wondering how a character is teleporting to various areas just for the convenience of the plot.
The antagonist had countless opportunities to kill the hero, but of course he wouldn't given the impenetrable plot armour of the hero. I could narrate each scene which anchored my interest, but that would be me telling the whole story... Would only recommend the movie to witness some great acting by Manoj, otherwise...

Nothing is worth watching in this movie. Just went to see because of Manoj Vajpaye but it doesn't have any story and totaly repeat, meaningless story and waste of time..
All the story is boring and got bored in first 20 minutes, you can predict complete story of in 20 minutes.
I will not recommend this movie to anyone who cares for their time and want to watch some meaningful movie.
But if you want to watch only fighting scenes and meaningless movie you can watch it.
Lastly it tried to copy story of Leo somewhat in different manner but in a wrong way. I got too much bored that I left theater after interval.....

This movie is a prime example of how relying solely on an actor's reputation can lead to disappointment. I've always admired Manoj Bajpayee for his compelling performances and believed he couldn't choose a project that wasn't worth watching. However, this film has changed my perspective. It lacks a coherent plot and seems to be a collection of random, disjointed scenes. The storyline doesn't hold up, and it feels like the movie was thrown together without any clear direction or purpose. Despite Bajpayee's undeniable talent, even his performance couldn't save this film from being a letdown. The characters are underdeveloped, and the narrative fails to engage the audience. Overall, it was a disappointing experience, and I doubt I'll be eager to watch another movie of his anytime soon if this is the direction he's headed in.

I never anticipated that Mr. Manoj Bajpayee would choose to be part of a movie like "Bhaiyya Ji." While the storyline had potential, the script disrupted the flow, making it difficult to stay engaged. At times, the narrative felt misdirected and inconsistent, with the script misleading the story in parts. Additionally, the action scenes were excessively over the top, detracting from the overall experience.
I watched the movie primarily because of Mr. Manoj Bajpayee, whose performances typically elevate the story and do justice to the storyline. However, this time, I found myself disappointed. Despite his commendable acting, the flaws in the script and direction were too glaring to ignore.
Unfortunately, I can't rate this movie more than 4 stars.

** No spoilers **
Overall 5 off 10
It gives a John Wick vibe.
But there's lack of characterization, which results in failure of audience bonding with the main character.
Could be likable to a certain audience who appreciate senseless action/drama.
For an action movie, even the action sequences are not impressive. A bit old school.
Also the drama is not convincing. The plot is predictable.
Bajpayee has carried the character and movie well. Other characters are kinda less convincing and do not have an important role in the plot proceeding.
However, the plot is not too bad. One would be able to survive the movie without being too bored, or if you are a fan of Bajpayee's performance.
In a nutshell, do not have huge expectations from the movie.

Great acting by all actors. Movie could have been shorter. Dialogues and action could have been better.
With a stereotype script, the actors have done their job well to keep the interest alive.
Music is forgettable/fast forward able, action scenes are ok could have been better. Manoj sir has done fantastic job. The script has given enough scope to all actors to showcase their talent rather than keeping it star centric which is a good thing.
Special Effects are not special at all. Overall good movie to watch while doing dishes or other chores at home;). Part two may not be worth it. Cheers to the acting.

Full on Masala movie with full of action. Obviously When it is Manoj's Sir 100th film than it is like it should be.
Good Story, nicely storytelling and every character has got the enough lines to give impact in the movie when every character is involved properly with full of lines than only movie runs in balance way and Manoj Sir did it very well.
Joya what an extraordinary form she has shown in the last 30 minutes of movie which is the most turning point of the story and made the audience overwhelmed for a certain time that what is going on... Awesome!!!
Action in this age and in the same level like other yougters is really commendable.

Action in this age and in the same level like other yougters is really commendable.

I didn't like the movie as it has no better storyline and it was all about action and fight scenes that was also not upto the expectations. In the movie, everyone was like "Bhaiyya Ji ye Bhaiyya ji Woh" and Bhaiyya ji Fusss rahte hain ekdum. According to the movie, Bhaiyya Ji is a Great Bahubali who seeks revenge for his brother's death, and he is well equipped with everything like political support and local support, but what is the use of all this if you fight alone and uspe bhi goli lag ja rahi ek toh bhagte fir rahe, Are Bahubali hain toh aapke pas kam se kam 50 log toh har time hone chahiye. The 4 stars are just for Manoj Bajpayee, otherwise i would have give zero rating.
