Awful does not start to tell you the let down. Where in the universe do these reviewers giving 9 and 10 come from? One even wrote "best movie of the year". You got to be kidding me!
I admit, the ploy is always the same: early on upon movie release, all these people show up with lots and lots of standard / non sensical praises extolling the worse movies. Technically, this trick is as old as online reviews: it fortunately should not fool anybody. Well, except me this time... I saw the IMDB average 6.something rating, thought why not? and went for it.
Well, that was a mistake: this movie was like a bad dream with nothing to redeem it. A bad movie with all the ingredients: the misfits vampires, the violent weirdos, a meh! vague story, a bout of MMA, lots of blood, a tiny touch of gothic atmosphere and above all, Ladies and Gentlemen, real baaaad acting.
