Marvel One-Shot: Agent Carter

This is a great one shot that Marvel made with a beloved character. The writing is solid for the 10ish minutes that it is and the action is spectacular too.

Atwell portrays Carter with such confidence that it is hard to deny she is a capable agent. It is nice to see Stark too, keeping up with continuity that he was one of the founders of Shield.

In light of continuity, it is hard to gauge when this one shot takes place or if it is even canon after all. It could take place after season 2 of Agent Carter but it is hard to tell.

This is the first of Marvel One-shots that I had watched. It just felt like a pilot for Agent Carter. Hayley Atwell was amazing again. She is the Peggy Carter we deserve.

I just missed Jarvis... I know he appear in the show, but Peggy and Jarvis are a inseparable team for me now. Howard Stark is always hilarious and he isn't different in this one. Dumb Dumb Dugan was a surprise.

Seriously, Netflix need to pick up Agent Carter for a third season. We need a more of these characters. Bring back these amazing characters to small screen. Just do it Marvel!!!!!!

Agent Carter is by far the best One-Shot. Amazing action and even a nice reveal thats important for the whole story of the MCU. It doesn't really make sense with the TV Show though but yea still active One-Shot.

This is one of the longest of the Marvel One-Shots and it uses this time to really introduce the character of Peggy Carter beyond the little we saw in Captain America: The First Avenger. The post-war workplace setting is unfortunately so dismissive of Carter, which gives her a good chance to prove herself. During the mission against "Zodiac" (unfortunately not explicated in anything but superficial terms), she holds her own and achieves some impressive acrobatic action sequences to show us what she is capable of. By pitting her against so many enemies - co-workers, bad guys and circumstances - we see Agent Carter at her best.

Great One-shot. It gives us a good tease of what's to come. I really like how they show Peggy and how gritty she can be. And how she is under estimated. As always Hayley Atwell does a great job with the role of Peggy Carter and she could have easily held a full length solo film about her character. The One-shot is fun and yet tells an interesting story in fifteen minutes. Well put together.

Unfortunately this One-shot doesn't quite fit into the Peggy Carter series. I wish they would have kept the more serious tone that they created here, instead they put a much lighter spin on it. And the way the one-shot ends doesn't flow with the series.
