Mortified

Flat and dull. The writer-director tries to turn this into a stylish film noir type film but doesn't have the actors or script to pull it off. It's all quite B-grade and amateurish.

Plot: When Sid Bothers, P. I., is hired by a gorgeous dame to protect her father from a serial killer that is targeting old rich white guys, Sid learns the killer is after more than revenge.

One of the worst movies I've seen in a while. No budget. It tried to emulate film noir of the 1950's, but fails miserably. Part of that is due to the horrendous acting and miscasting. But it's also poorly directed and the writing is atrocious.

And then, of course, there is the absurdly low budget that does nothing to lift the sense of amateur from this movie.

Clearly, those who rated this a ten were friends of the production.
