I didn't give this a 10 because I figured out most of it well before the end. So it wasn't all that much of a mystery to me. I don't like things to be that easy but it was well-acted all around. I wasn't sure I'd like this Havers because I'd liked the previous one so much. She had a real chip on her shoulder like the Havers in the books, whereas this current one does not. But I've come to really appreciate her in this role. I hope there's a season 2.

I've just started watching the original series it is way better engaging wise the character development the yeah just everything about it is so much better I do like the the series on is going great I just finished season 1 the new series is also great I watched that first I'm not much on doing comparisons cuz you're very different but yeah both series are really good that's why I gave them good ratings

This episode bore no relation to the book. George's character development is great, but everyone in this series (and especially this episode) is a one dimensional walking cliche. So frustrating. On the plus side, lynley is hot AF. Hope they find a way to improve these episodes and flesh out the characters a bit.
