The 2007 'Running Down A Dream' documentary has been my '4-hour-flight' pillow forever, and it turned me from a TP+tH fan into a TP+tH obsessive.
Fast-forward to the brilliant 'Somewhere You Feel Free' doco, and parallel 'Wildflowers' reissue, it had already become clear that the vanguards of the TP estate have nothing but respect for Tom's memory, and his fan's desire to share in that respect.
With the recent reissue of 'Long After Dark', Adria and her family have taught all those responsible for artistic deceased estates how to do it PROPER with the release of this film in cinemas - Oct 17, and Oct 20. Happy birthday, and we miss you, Tom.
So what is the film like?
It is everything a TP+tH obsessive like myself could have ever wanted. I was 7 years old when the footage was taken - it took me right back there. The music, the fun, Tom's humour and passion, the band's commitment to their craft. Keys to the city granted....xx.
