'Close Rick-Counters of the Rick Kind' is a mind-bending, mythos-building epic that introduces the Council of Ricks and a universe of infinite possibilities. The plot is filled with brilliant sci-fi concepts, hilarious gags, and a shocking, game-changing twist ending.

The voice work is an absolute tour de force by Justin Roiland, who breathes life into an entire army of Ricks and Mortys. The emotional core is surprisingly strong, as Morty finally stands up to Rick and proves he is more than just a tool. The final reveal of Evil Morty is one of the most brilliant villain introductions in television history.

This episode isn't just a great penultimate episode; it's a statement that this show is capable of anything, and it sets the stage for a much larger and darker story.

Really the best animation that ever existed I really have high hope for this series

Another classic "Rick and Morty episode.

Rick (Justin Roiland) is arrested by the council of Ricks following a spate of Ricks being murdered around the multiverse. As Rick has refused to join the council, he is the lead suspect, but escapes with Morty (Justin Roiland) and tries to find the real culprit. Meanwhile, Jerry (Chris Parnell) and a somewhat less intelligent version of Rick form a bond.

Again, this is a super funny, super clever episode, introducing us to the recurring council of Ricks and further the idea that there's a Rick and Morty in each plane of existence. Everything is truly clicking now, the animation is great, the vocal performances are consistent and the story is really ingenious. The only thing that doesn't quite ring true is how easily Morty forgives Rick at the end - though the uneasiness between the two continues on and recurs throughout the show.

Rick's world was very interesting. This episode had an interesting story. As always, everything was great, especially the finish.
