Destiny

This 3rd part of the arc involving Yoda's quest to learn the truth takes him to strange worlds following Qui Gonn's promises that there is a path to greater knowledge of the force which will help the Jedi defeat the Sith.

The world where Yoda meets mysterious guides is very interesting. It is a full on journey into new fantasy realms similar to the Mortis arc from earlier in Clone Wars story. As with that story this is dark, fascinating and involving.

This engages your heart whilst also involving your mind in thoughtful ideas.

Ambitious and powerful storytelling.

My rating: 10/10.

The episode itself is of course well-developed. Watching these helped me to better understand what would later happen in the original trilogy.

But what especially struck me were the landscapes and the mind-blowing work put in the design of this episode. I couldn't help but stop and look at the different frames and images, just for the art.

This blend of Xen (Half-Life), Japanese culture and worst nightmare's creature will remain memorable.

Knowing that this episode was released in 2014, it really shows that the studio put its best in this (and some other) episode(s) of the season 6.

I wish, they would release desktop background in HD of these! Or some artwork books.

Do not mind the other review. This whole arc and episode was AMAZING. It brings back the nostalgia feeling while it also touches you with a story about Yoda's journey to figure out the future and let go of the past. Incredible!

I really like what they did with Yoda in this whole arc and this episode specifically. I always loved the little guy in the original trilogy, but this is probably the best writing and character development ge has ever received. He was long due for some more time in the spotlight.

Very insightful and deep. I never thought I'd see some Star Wars lore in the screen that would get me thinking. Very entertaining.
