Lot of things had happen in recent times sometimes good, sometimes not good, and "time" will always be here to stay...forever. And the fact that it's somewhat effective at it's message is something.
Who knew that a children's show parody featuring puppets would be so terrifying yet so aesthetically creative, with some gory/disgusting decay as a sign of the passage of time, increasing the dreed of its character as they're screaming in pain and agony
Of course, if that's too deep when it comes too horror-themed parody, then I'm afraid that you're probably not gonna like it. 8/10, would not watch it again.

Like something out of the "Twilight Zone". This video focuses more on our heebiejeebies of being human. Which then expands into an Magnum Odyssey of uncertain dread.
It was a sunny day. I was scrolling on YouTube when a I saw a video called "Don't Hug Me Im Scared 2 - TIME" on my for you page. Out of curiosity, I clicked on the what I suspected to be a Sesame Street ripoff...but I was wrong. It was better then that.
You could blatantly see how much hard work and effort was put into this episode. The wallpaper, the costumes, the portraits on the walls...it's a work of art. It isn't just a silly YouTube video, no, its ART.
Now about the writing...I wouldn't call this "deep" or "meaningful" but there's definitely a good balance of funny, cute horrifying, most big shows don't have enough balance of all. In fact, I've seen more good web series then good tv series!
Actually, ignore the part where I said it wasn't deep because there's a lot of themes of death, aging and mortality but worst of all...timers. I hate them. Timers stress me out but this show doesn't.
Also the rating for this episode is ridiculous there's no sex or nudity lol
Tldr: funny puppet show with clocks and blood ooooo so scary.

DHMIS 2 is an unsettling yet fascinating continuation of the DHMIS series. The blend of childlike aesthetics with dark, surreal storytelling creates a unique atmosphere that is both captivating and disturbing. The way the episode explores themes of time, control, and existential dread through clever symbolism and eerie puppetry is brilliant.
The writing is sharp, with layers of meaning that invite multiple viewings to fully unpack. The unsettling shifts from playful to nightmarish keep you on edge the entire time. The music and visuals work perfectly together to create an experience that's as thought-provoking as it is unnerving.
While not for everyone due to its unsettling nature, DHMIS 2 is a standout piece of experimental storytelling that challenges the viewer's perception of reality and the passage of time. Highly recommended for fans of avant-garde animation and psychological horror.
