The Past Haunts

Patrick Jane is very ill to investigate a group of jewel thieves in an exposition. One of the suspects is murdered and the agents try to understand the reason. Patrick plots a plan using Lisbon as a psychic to catch the thief and the killer. Meanwhile the past of Dennis Abbot in Rio Bravo haunts him since may affect the aimed promotion of his beloved wife Lena.

"Black Market" is an intriguing episode of "The Mentalist" since it discloses a secret in Abbot's past in Rio Bravo. What this correct agent did while working there? The theft of the jewels is funny ad resolved by Lisbon and Patrick Jane posing as psychic. My vote is seven.

Trivia
Jane's signature vest returns for the rest of the season in this episode, possibly because of Lisbon's comment in The Greybar Hotel (2014) that he is wearing a vest and she likes it.

Goofs
At 21:28, when Vega is ordering the suspect to put their hands in the air, she has both hands wrapped around the grip of her gun-neither index finger is extended, on the trigger, or the trigger guard. Depending on the law enforcement agency, her finger should either be on the trigger guard or hovering over the trigger. In this case, she's basically shaking the gun at the suspect.
