Title reference: the book with the same name by Nicholas Kristof and Sheryl WuDunn. The book argues that the oppression of women worldwide is "the paramount moral challenge" of the present era, much as the fight against slavery was in the past.

Goofs
During the first flashback 5 years ago, Nick uses an iPhone to take a picture, however, the wrong model iPhone is used. The first generation iPhone did come out 5 years ago in 2009 but was not back. This appears to be an iPhone 5. When he turns the phone to show the picture, you can see that the phone is running iOS 7 or 8 which was just released last year or this year, respectively.
