    Best Episode Ever

I can watch this episode over and over and never get tired of it.

I don't normally write reviews but this was the greatest episode I have ever seen!

So I stopped watching supernatural after season 5 because to me that was a fitting end for the series. But lately I've been trying to finish watching the rest of the seasons and this episode was by far the funniest episode I had ever seen. This is never leaving my DVR!

This this is why spn is an epic

Since S9 it has been rough, i haven't seen a 10/10 since S8, but this, this is beyond. I love this show so freaking much and what an amazing episode. The meta eps are the best and the in jokes.

    I vote "11."

As a fan of Supernatural and a mother, I want to thank the writers, directors, cast, and everyone involved in the making of this episode. This episode has not only helped to bridge the generation gap between children and parents but it shows our children that their opinions and creativity (no matter how we feel about their ideas) matter. My teenage daughter and her friends, as well as myself, loved the episode. I loved seeing the reactions of Sam and Dean as they tried to understand what was going on. It is like a parent trying to understand their teenage daughter at the same time being supportive and proud even if they do not agree with their ideas. I enjoyed watching this episode with her and seeing her reaction to it. She thinks it was.... "a thing of beauty! #subtext" We will continue to watch Supernatural and look forward to many more of these special episodes.

A Special Celebration Episode for the Fans

I'm not a big fan of musicals, and yet I really enjoyed the 200th episode.

Fan Fiction is not simply a love letter to all the fans, but a marriage celebration. As a fan, I felt like this episode sealed my marriage to Supernatural with a kiss. You know how at weddings there is usually a picture slide-show that reveals the progress of a couple's relationship over time from childhood to adulthood, with romantic music playing in the background? This episode felt like exactly that; it is a slide show of moving pictures (scenes) set to heartfelt and emotional tunes (the musical). I felt like I was the groom waiting for Supernatural, the bride, in all her majestic beauty as she walks down the isle, reaches out her hand, and encourages me as we both prepare to say "I do." But before we tie the knot, she reminds me of all the journeys we've shared and the obstacles we've overcome over the last 10 years, the good times and the not so good times, and the outright hilarious moments that we'll treasure for a lifetime. We're now officially one. There's no going back. This is it, Supernatural family, we've made it, so let's celebrate our marriage with a honeymoon. Never give up on the show; season 10 has just begun.

If we pay real close attention, the episode listens to the fans and gives us what we want. The writers do a great job giving a shout out to all the funny things and taboo topics about the characters that we like to joke about on social media, nudge nudge hint hint, and spoofing the criticisms of the show we sometimes tend to make. Such references make this episode absolutely hilarious, that is, if you have been following the show for a while and get these hints.

A risky episode, but very well done. The funny moments in the episode will soon become classic. I've seen every episode of the series and this one easily ranks in the top 5 for creativity. I imagine it will get positive reviews from loyal fans, while possibly negative reviews from casual observers who just won't get "the feels", if you know what I mean. 10 out of 10.

    • Trivia
The girl playing Dean in the musical complains the reason she isn't wearing the "samulet" is that it keeps hitting her in the lips. Jensen Ackles hated the amulet because it constantly hit him in the face.
    • Goofs
In the opening scene Marie refers to Sam and Dean as "the Winchesters". In season 4 episode 18 when Sam and Dean meet Edlund, Edlund says he never used their last name in the books.

However, Becky Rosen (from "The Real Ghostbusters" in season 5 and "Season Seven, Time for a Wedding!" in season 7 knew the brothers' last name and was known to post information about them on Supernatural fan websites using the screen name "beckywinchester176" (as stated by Charlie in the season 9 episode "Slumber Party." It is not inconceivable that Becky revealed Sam and Dean's last name in one of her posts.

Dean Winchester: [Pointing to the actors portraying Dean and Castiel] What are they doing?

Marie: Ummm. Kids these days call it hugging.

Dean Winchester: Is that in the show?

Marie: Oh. No. Siobhan and Kristen are a couple in real life. Although we do explore the nature of Destiel in act two.

      Dean Winchester: Sorry. What?

Marie: Oh, it's just subtext. But... then again, you know, you can't spell subtext without... S-E-X.

[after that sinks in, Dean looks hard into the camera, breaking the fourth wall]
