Going Rogue was undoubtedly the best episode in the series, so far.
RAVES
+ We got to see various sides of Barry, in this episode. Grant Gustin, does a good job of switching from a playful to serious to romantic side.
+ Wentworth Miller as Leonard Snart/ Captain Cold. This was one character I was looking forward to seeing, the most. I haven't seen much of Millers work, but I thought he did complete justice to the role. He was great as the antagonist. It's going to be interesting to see how things progress between Flash and Cold
+ Barry & Felicity.
+ The Director and Cinematographer have done a wonderful job, in this episode. All the visuals were quite a treat and the action sequences were highly entertaining
Rants
Nothing really. This episode was really good.
And thus deserves a 10/10.

Being a fan of Wentworth Miller I watched this episode exclusively for him. This was his big comeback on Television. And it was great. But surprisingly I really liked everything in this episode. So much that I wanted to catch up on this show and I watched the other 3 episodes online. This show has all the essentials to be a great one.
Grant is a good choice for Barry Allen. All the other characters do a good job as well. And it's really interesting to see how The Flash progresses episode after episode.
I thought Going Rogue was the best episode amongst all 4. There was the right amount of action, thrills, humor and romance,
The scenes between Barry and Felicity were entertaining.
And Wentworth Miller did a splendid job as Leonard/ Captain Cold. It was an absolute delight to watch him on screen again. Hoping to see a lot more episodes with him on the show.
The Flash has been quite enjoyable so far. And now it's something for me to look forward to every Tuesday night.

What's really great about Arrow and The Flash is that just like on nights like this, characters can cross over to the other show and it wont feel out of place. And I'm glad that these shows aren't sharing a universe with the films. It would significantly limit the shows power of storytelling which is what Arrow and The Flash are best at. Onto tonight's show, Felicity was the major highlight and brought out the best in each of the main characters.
We all love Felicity from Arrow along with the quirkiness that comes with her, and to see her once again connect with Barry was great. I love that she still had a significant amount of sexual innuendos just as she does with Oliver. I also completely buy into them both being friend zoned by Iris and Oliver and acknowledging how right they are for each other. Their kiss at the end was bittersweet but may be all we get with them for quite awhile.
Captain Cold was a welcome addition to Flash' rogues gallery, and although I don't know how fond I am of the actor playing him, I know there will be more to come from his character. The West family side story was forgettable especially considering how predictable it was, but in the long run it was necessary. I'm still not sold on Eddie Thawne being reverse flash but they are doing a good job of making us believe he's a good guy before pulling the classic CW bait and switch.
Back at STAR labs Cisco is haunted by the fact that he was the reason for Captain Cold's gun being stolen. If was the first glimpse into how menacing Wells can be to Cisco and Caitlyn and also into Barry failing to save a life for the first time. It was just another great thing that this episode had to offer. The character development has significantly improved over just the course of 4 episodes.

The show has had a good start with great special effects and production values. But it shows signs of bad writing that could kill the series. The writers need to pay special attention to Barry's unique powers. Scenes where the bad guy is able to aim and shoot Barry while Barry sees them make no sense. Monologing is especially silly. Just hesitating a second is enough for Barry to run around them and knock them in the head. If the villain doesn't totally surprise Barry, then there's simply no way he can get attack Barry. This would only work if Barry's speed was somehow neutralized or if the villain is impervious to Barry's attack, and Capt. Cold certainly wasn't. Barry would never have allowed him to just walk away from a fight.
If the writers can tighten up the use of Barry's speed and the villains and if they can make his father's case for justice more compelling, this could be a great series. Right now it's just Luke warm.
Also, the attraction between Barry and Iris just isn't there. The two have zero chemistry and no compelling reasons for being romantic. No real connection at all except their shared childhood. In fact this shared childhood makes their romance less of a possibility and somewhat unsavory. They are more like siblings than potential lovers.

"Going Rogue" is one of the greatest episodes of The Flash to date. It's action packed and full of love triangles! What a great episode! Captain Cold is a refreshing (see what I did there?) new villain introduced. Probably the best villain we've had! I love Iris and Barry's love triangle and I also like that they gave Felicity and Barry a chance! I don't ship it...not yet anyway. I still feel like Iris and Barry belong together. The ending to this episode was flat out intense, and also very funny! I also love Dr. Wells sinister side, it's dark and creepy and quite disturbing. This episode is a major improvement from the last two episodes and in my opinion, it's right there with the first episode as well! Is it better? No. But there both equally great! Hoping for that one episode that will just be AMAZING! I know it's coming, because this weeks episode was just amazing! Keep it up Flash team! Your doing great! - Jdmax
