A new hight for action anime

The two new episodes left me speechless. They are perfect, they outdid everyone in the industry, the level of detailes, action pace, fluidity, camera work, expressions, music, impact - it's on another level. Some may even claim they were better than Chaninsaw man! Movie in som parts, and certainly better than the qhole second season combined!

However the first half of the movie you sit through the recap part of 3 fights. When only the one with Juji and Mahito is done decently ok, but the rest is squeezed so tightly, in small increments, that you only get «aha, i remember it» moment, but nothing more.

    I couldn't believe it.

I've never written a review before in this website, so do forgive me but:

I don't think I've ever seen anything as arrogant as this. They managed to squeeze around 35 mins of recaps into a movie shown in theaters.

What an absolutely disappointing realization, everyone just sat through the first half of the movie joking and taking pictures. There was nothing to watch, nothing worthwhile talking about.

I don't like this method of storytelling, I hope it dies with this movie and it doesn't become a trend. It just made the second half much less enjoyable.

What an incredible waste of time.

    Save yourself the trip/$

When the best and worst part of the movie is the 40-minutes of recap filler, it's best to skip.

It was enjoyable seeing some of the previous animation on the big screen, but the animation quality isn't there to justify a theater release. At the same time, for anyone who has never watched the series, the recap is incredibly fast and confusing and tells no backstory to involve anyone who wanted to get interested in the series. I could barely follow the constant scene skips and I just finished the entire series last week.

It's not a standalone movie to enjoy from start to finish.

The second half has little to be desired with several cheap budget scenes of dialogue while mouth is covered to save on animation. The couple fights were fun to watch, but again, didn't hit quite right.

TL;DR: Demon Slayer:Infinity Castle ruined all future anime movie theater releases and set the bar too high.

    This is not a movie

The first 38 minutes of the movie is season 2 recap. I'm a JJK big fan and the movie horrible. There's literally no fight between Yuta and Yuji. All the scenes were just back and forth. The movie is just an introduction to season 3. Doesn't deserve to be in the cinema. Just a waste of time and money.

Most is recap + teasing new season

The animation and such is amazing as always, but the first half or even more is the Shibuya arc summarized and the action if just few minutes.

Kinda felt ripped of for going to the cinema in Japan for this. Wate of time compared to just watch it at home in some months.

There is no point to go to the cinema for it. The fights look cool, the characters are nice and it alings perfectly with the known story. So i am looking forward to next season, but it seems like it will just ve the first episodes of the next season to be honest.
