This is just a flat out fun film! I love indie films! However, often times you don't know what exactly you're getting yourself into. But for me, this was not one of those occasions. I don't want to be considered a spoiler, so I don't want to say to much about the story... other than it was just delightful. Bravo, well done! I thought the director did a super good job in telling the story and keeping the pace of the film moving along. I did not find myself drifting off or getting board. So for me, this is a solid thumbs up!!
OK. This is a good movie on the path to being great. The cinematography was superb. I really loved the setting and felt the characters made the most of it by taking us to various locations to tell their story. The costuming was realistic and the plot was understandable. Unfortunately, the pacing made the viewer uncomfortable. There was silence when words would have been best, there was running for no apparent reason, there were lots of eye-rolling moments that left the audience wondering, "what is the problem, here?" The good thing about the characters is that they were likeable, relatable people, who made you want to know more about what was going on in their heads and in their lives. Parker's story was highly believable, but I began to wonder if he and Charlotte were in the protagonist's imagination. Anyway, I thought it was fun to watch and a splendid use of the beautiful scenery.
This was an enjoyable film to watch.
In it, you will follow the journey of three teenagers, as they go into new situations. As the plot unfolds, they learn more about themselves, their strengths, their fears, and the struggle to overcome them. It's very relatable to teenagers out there, teaching on topics such as making new friends in a strange place, dealing with a tough family situation, and depression.
The biggest thing I took from this film is: Freidnship! And the power it has to mend broken souls.
Tristan made good use of the small budget, with good special effects in certain situations, good video quality, and a nice number of people in the cast.

I especially love films where the characters discover things about themselves along the journey. This teenage-centric film is a fun journey for all ages to get lost in as it hits upon some key elements that are relatable to all - friendships, family, tough situations, and overcoming challenges.
I am not going to be too hard on this film, As I was watching it, I kept saying to myself that this must surely have been written, produced and directed by kids around the same age as the film's three protagonsits, A quick look at the FAQ section on IMDB confirmed that my impression was correct. With that in mind, I want to congratulate the filmmakers and encourage their future endeavours. This is a good early effort. Sure, the plot is a bit convoluted, the acting isn't universally great and there are some glaring continuity glitches, but it's better than anything I could have produced. Congratulations kids. Keep up the good work and I look forward to future output. To potential viewers I say, give this a watch and support the young filmmakers.
