Whisper If I Forget

A good film, emotional and heart-breaking but entertaining at the same time.

As someone who has witnessed Alzheimer's first hand and lived through it with my family I was drawn to this film based on the initial plot summary. The portrayal of the family relationships and the interactions and behaviors was very real and honest. Everything is not always as it seems with people and their lives. There is a price to pay often for success. The scenes were very realistic and honest and had good dialogues. I appreciated how they ease you into the story and the dig deeper into the drama. How the story unfolded slowly and sweetly, opening new layers to the drama. As I'm becoming a huge Turkish movie and Tv fan I love the family dynamics and how it's not to terribly different from most families. A great mix of traditional and modern patterns. The acting was excellent by all.

Great film. A must see one. Emotional and touching. A star, family problems and Alzheimer. A life with up and downs. Cagan Irmak at his best again. Humeyra is perfect, she is acting as she sings. Of course some turkish elements but very nice. I enjoyed it very much. Enjoy it.

This is a very touching story about very young people and very old people. An age of youth, full of great hopes, strong desires and fresh emotions is shown as a contrast to the weaknesses of the old characters and evokes a range of feelings. The strong ambitions of talented youth force them to seek fame. They meet love and success, difficulties and losses, they meet their destiny. But life goes on, all mistakes must be forgiven, all grievances must be forgotten. So watch and meet a wonderful film about success, love story and destiny. And don't be too shy to cry in the end of this touching story.
