Maura's Face.

This episode Maura stands her ground, she's been hurt by someone who she considered to be her hero, and she refused to speak to her then hero ever again as Author tried tobioreenter her life, but with the secret she's been carrying around for years, because of him makes it near impossible, so she remained hard, which she can be, or hurt as she was, just as a few episodes, as when she hugged her biological mother for the first time realizing that this may be the first and last time this would happen , as when Jane said something in jest, where Maura took it hard, as you could see the tears welling up in her eyes, and her lips quivering, which Jane said she was sorry about as she hugged Maura.

First on-screen appearance of Kiki, Vince Korsak's "Life Coach" turned girlfriend.

Goofs
Once again Maura finds trace amounts of substances on a victim's skin that cannot possibly be there. This time, she supposedly found trace amounts of synthetic rubber from the soles of hiking boots. Human skin is not tough enough nor rough enough to scrape hardened rubber, designed to withstand walking and hiking, off the soles of boots.
