    Nostalgia

Just love to see this TRI thing, Season 1 was amazing then now 02 comes up which was not that good tbh I would say a little childish it was , but this TRI it was just amazing, Tai and Matt and their friendship has grown a lot.

They real original digidestined has a different class and no one can be compared with them.

I just love this series and for me War Greymon is and will be the best and strongest Digimon in the universe.

Oh boy !! I can't explain I'm words how I was Happy to see Digimon is back

Well I guess they did a Great job and some old memories to bring back that was great they really know how to hit the 90's kids.

    Yawn

It appears this film is the first in a series of film which will conclude in 2018. If I knew that I wouldn't have watched it. The following review will be for both the first and second films. From what I read, the third is supposed to be awesome but I haven't been able to get my hands on it. The first film in the series is extremely lacking because it simply acts an introduction or reintroduction. Plus there is hardly has any action in it.

    Reunion with old friends.

This movie is like a reunion with your old childhood friend, you've changed, they've changed but the adventures are still there. The action in this movie is awesome, and all the animation is a nice update compared to the original. This sets the stage perfectly for the rest of the movie series.

Okay if you liked the old show.

I was a fan of Digimon as a kid, but unlike Dragon Ball Z and Escaflowne, I'm not a fan as an adult. Digimon just doesn't hit that sweet spot anymore I guess. I was expecting stellar animation like that which was in the previously theatrically released Digimon: The Movie, and safe to say I was disappointed. In this new film the animation was choppy, the facial and eye artwork was sloppy, the sound design was jarring, and overall the pacing was way too slow. A 96 minute long movie never felt so long.

And yes, I know Digimon: The Movie was three short films edited together to make a full length movie. And yes, I know that most fans don't like the English version of this movie because of the bad editing. But it still has stellar animation, no matter what Fox Kids did to it.

I saw this movie in the English special theatre release. I liked the voice acting, though Vic Mignogna as Matt was jarring because Matt is blonde haired and blue eyed, which just made me think of Edward Elric from Full Metal Alchemist the whole time.

I get that this isn't technically a movie, it's the first four episodes of a new series. In any case, it's still slow and choppy. I get too that it only had a small budget, which was obvious in the amount of still shots in the movie, but even so, the artists could try a little harder on the faces.

    Original DigiDestined Are Back!!

Digimon adventure tri chapter 1: reunion Is a movie made for those that are nostalgic for the original Digimon series, and that is all right because I am a fan.

It is fun to see what the characters are up to now after everything that has happened and how they are growing distant from each other until a certain events happen.

The characters are mostly spot on and feels like they are building on what we saw in the TV show.

The character dynamic is still good and they still work great as a team. And two hot headed leaders are still fun to watch Having their rivalry against each other.

And the two siblings that constantly have to look after their big brothers is still sad.

The Digimon look great and still have they personalities from the show, and still as cute as ever. The character designs look good, but the fights were mostly alright to look at, it was only the last where it actually looked good.

For fane of the original series it is promising but if you're newcomer I can find no reason to watch it, But I am a fan so I would recommend it to those who also are.
