Do not watch with high expectation. First half is fun but the climax is dull. Radhika has enough potential to do better movies, for this one she does justice to her leading role.
A creative endeavour that is fast paced and keeps you on toes with bouts of comedy, mystery and inspiration throughout. A refreshing and optimised take on story telling. Very engaging movie addressing a much ignored aspect of judicial system of developing countries . Recommended for cine goers looking for a fresh perspective.
Bombairiya is a comedy movie directed by Pia Sukanya and stars Radhika Apte, Siddhant Kapoor, Akshay Oberoi, Adil Hussain, Ravi Kishan, Amit Sial, Shilpa Shukla and Abhinay Deo.
The movie has an interesting plot which could've been developed in a great black comedy but the comedy of errors proved more errors and less comedy.
The acting is good in fact Siddhant Kapoor was surprisingly good, rest all actors were decent and quite impressive.
Screenplay is quite lacklustre and the makers were trying to make a complicated movie in order to hold the suspense till very end but with a very amateurish approach turned the movie into a confused rather chaotic movie.
The randomness also fails to evoke the interest and hence the movie which was expected as a dark humour with some suspense turns into a futile attempt.

The plot twists are confusing a bit. But due to the fact that it has all the major actors from new wave Indian/Netflix era, it was a treat to watch. Don't miss it and don't judge it that why all these great performers are doing in this film if you don't enjoy it.
This movie has way too many sub plots running parallel to its own detriment. Better direction and editing could have made it an easy viewing. Disorienting at times it sends its audience on mystery search of their own to finds answers far far too long nonetheless the message at its core is noble and there are a few comical moments and some cliche plot twists.
characters turning in on themselves and changing shades as the movie progresses is well written and in my observation this unintentionally epitomizes that if redeemed with the right actions any one can be a hero, no matter how comical.
