I don't even want to waste time and energy to review this awful film, sufficed to say, the acting was bad, the script terrible, the whole thing terrible, i skipped through most of it, and discovered that at the end, instead of having an ending, its just ends, almost like they ran out of money to shoot the final scenes, just ends,mid-scene, just ends. Again, awful film, predictable dirt. I have to have a minimum of ten lines apparently to review, anywho as i was saying, do not watch this, unless you like terribly bad horror, bad acting and the like, I feel almost bad for the actors who may have thought they were doing something presentable, though as soon as they read the scripts they should have known not to do it. Also one girl was totally just cast for her huge breast implants, and when she takes her bra off we see it was a botch job, just awful.
Playing With Dolls (2015) was pretty bad, starring Richard Tyson and telling the story of a psycho intentionally released from psychiatric care by an unscrupulous group who wanted to make a business out his murders.
The killer looked great but the film itself was a bit of a mess.
This sequel is essentially the same. Richard Tyson: Check Great looking killer: Check Crappy film: Check This one however was en-route to being better, it has its moments but dies a death in the closing moments and the reason is quite astonishing.
The final showdown is taking place, our main protagonist is battling the villain were about halfway through the fight and *Drumroll* the credits begin. That's right, the movie has no ending. It's like the editor forgot to add the finale and it's left laying on the editing floor.
I'm not going to say its a great shame, even with a decent ending this would hardly be a good film but the fact the movie was released in this state shocks me beyond words.
The Good:
Killer still looks badass
The Bad:
Cast are pretty damn bad
Kills are weak Where is the ending?
Things I Learnt From This Movie:
Boobs are to the killer as crucifix's are to vampires.

I just watched the movie and the plot synopsis is totally wrong. It is not even close. This isn't a movie about vampires. There are no supernatural beings. This is a low budget(I'm thinking 500 bucks) slasher flick that is based on a reality show. The acting absolutely atrocious and that is from everyone involved....no standouts here. It just goes on then dies......the movie doesn't even have an ending. It was horrible from beginning to end. I can't believe I watched the whole thing. I gave this movie 2 stars just because I have seen worse, not much worse, but worse nonetheless. If you want to give it a shot, go ahead, but don't say I didn't warn you.
This is not so much a sequel as part of a franchise. Instead of having a lone damsel being terrified, tormented and tortured by a mysterious psychopath, we start with four "contestants" - two male and two female. They are secreted in an isolated luxury cabin and told the one who survives until the end will win a million dollars with a lot more and fame to follow. It is fair to say that none of the group expected the word survive to be taken too literally, and one by one they are picked off.
The plot is fairly predictable, especially if you are unfortunate enough to have seen the previous offering, but sadism, gratuitous maiming and murder can only carry any film so far. The real tragedy of "Playing With Dolls..." is that the man behind it has missed his true vocation; Rene Perez also composed and performed its vastly superior soundtrack.

Whoever put the idea in the head of Rene Perez to become a director deservers to be shot publicly. What a dumb movie. The actors are horrible. The music is so bad it sounds like it was made by an 11 year old on a laptop, and the "gore" is so bad it looks comical.

- TriviaCaused some minor controversy when it was released in the UK under the title "Leatherface". Many critics have accused the filmmakers of trying to cash in on the then upcoming Texas Chainsaw Massacre prequel film. Rene Perez had denied this and apologized claiming that it was the distributor's choice of the title.
