when we first see the heroine, we feel pretty weird but later, hard to face to the ending

Im not a big fan of japanese movies. i usually dont watch it. but i happened to see this, and this was so great movie. at first, it seems quite strange to see the girl's reaction to him. and then, we can take it in with the later scene and story line. the more the story line flows, the more it is touching. i actually didnt like the ending but especially the story line was excellently great. you might feel it is one of the run of the mill japanese movie bcuz they have plenty of time traveling movies but its pretty prominent among those

    Masterful romance/fantasy

Boku wa asu, kinou no kimi to dêto suru is a classical Japanese melodrama. And i don't say that in a bad way.

Much like the classic "Love Letter, directed by the brilliant Hirokazu Kore Edo, this movie wraps nostalgia, romance and drama by pulling the right strings of your heart.

It is a deliberate choice by the director to rise the music and focus on the actor faces, he wants you to cry and you probably will.

That's because Boku wa asu, kinou no kimi to dêto suru succeeds in spectacular fashion in building an adorable relationship between the main characters in the first act.

Even if a bit confusing - and requiring a huge suspension of disbelief - this film is a winner. If you like melodramas, movies that you know have the objective to touch you and make you cry, you can't go wrong with this one.

    Absolutely beautiful romance/fantasy flick.

More rational brains might have trouble enjoying it

This is not an ordinary romance movie. Without spoiling too much, it has a supernatural element to it, something to do with time and the future. The problem is, it just doesn't make sense. From an emotional point of view, it's a nice roller coaster ride so I get why so many people love it. But if you lean towards thinking with the rational side of your brain, it's kind of frustrating.

    Good Enough

Tomorrow I'll date yesterday's you had a nice and interesting plot.

The couple had great chemistry, first and foremost. It is actually one of the few movies where I really liked Nana's character. She looked good with Fukushi's character and they helped the love story a lot.

The main plot is not confusing as well. Although it could have been, they presented it so perfectly that it was not even tiring to watch.

The ending, however, was not as good as a happy one.

So, overall, seven and a half out of ten.

    Slow start, good journey

As I started watching the movie I couldn't help but cringe at the plot, especially at the main male character and how the couple's relationship took off... until I caught myself crying in the middle of the movie and things started to make sense. Overall, it was a good movie with an interesting plot that's worth your time, go watch it.
