This movie seemed pretty fun in the trailer and I could't wait to watch it. In the beginning it was funny and seemed promising, but it went downhills throughout the movie. It became plain and it wasn't really what I expected it to be. It wasn't bad, but not worth more than 6 stars. I feel like it was such a waste especially for the actors because the story just needed something to spice it up. The actors on the other hand were amazing, they deffo had chemistry and their acting was great but I would have loved to see them in a different drama or movie with a better storyline.
I'm not saying I don't recommend it because some might like it, but don't expect too much of this. This was more a time killer for me.

I enjoy the romcom genre and I really wanted to love this movie. Everything is set up for a good movie (good actors, decent story). Maybe a little bit contrived, but that's what happens in romcoms.
I've read enough about bilingual speakers saying that English subtitles in Korean movies only show about 30% of what's actually said. After years of consuming Kdramas and movies, this movie is the first time I could tell I was missing out on a lot of the dialogue. I had to figure out what was being said based on context, but it still didn't work.
Context is fine most of the time, but in this case, it made for an on-screen connection being built that I couldn't see. On top of that, it was hard to understand the conflict towards then end, when most of the dialogue isn't shown.
I'm almost positive I would have given this at least a 7 or 8 if I could understand Korean.

Nothing too heavy here. The premise you've seen before. But wonderfully told and acted. Chae-won Moon in the female lead was especially good not just with lines but physically how she acted. Something not often seen in Hollywood.
Some sections of the movie are very funny. Some are touching. A few serious. It never got too slow or deep. The only thing that keeps it from getting that 10th star from me is one character that was there for laughs on his own but I did not find funny at all. Otherwise, I thoroughly enjoyed Mood of the Day.
It was my first Korean movie or content that I watched and now I love Korean movies & serial also. In this movie don't have a great story, but the screenplay & soundtracks are very good, many scenes are funny & romantic, doesn't feel boring. Actors are also very good, especially Moon Chae-Won's acting is great, her facial expression seems natural and funny in this movie. Didn't compare with reality and just loved this movie.
Unlike the usual chaste K drama series this movie has people talking about sex and having one night stands. Movies always can be more realistic than dramas. The story is alright - and things come together quite well. A playboy propositions a woman he meets on the train to Busan. It's quite fun to see how they do fall for each other properly. Moon Chae Won is a good actress I like to watch and Yoo is suited to the playboy.
It's okay - not the greatest but at least it's a grown up story.
