Yes, this isn't a very good movie. But as an other reviewer mentioned, someone has to start somewhere.
The story is decent, and some camera shoots are really good. The actors did a decent job, some are better, some are just amateurs. So what? The movie isn't worth 10 stars, of course, but it's way better than 1 star.

I didn't read about this movie before tuning in on YouTube but the premise seemed it might be interesting but really it was pretty predictable: Some folks go on a trip despite being warned of the danger, then predictably they encounter the danger and death and then try to survive. Honestly, I continued to watch just to see who would survive, and it turned out more than I would have expected. The movie says it's about aliens and monsters but there were only a couple of oversized flying insects and a bunch of dinosaurs with red eyes, and did not see any of the gore that usually accompanies such encounters. The one good thing I can say about the movie is that the production was sharp and easy to look at.
This movie is a clear example that anyone can make a film. This was so so so bad. It's tripe made for the sake of scamming people out of their money. When it releases on Prime for $1.99, I know its not a blockbuster. But I expect more than this. I cant think of a single compliment.
I'm not saying it's a terrible movie but the dialogue is just got awful. How does one conduct a fact finding interview that lasts 30-45 seconds with no concrete information. The so-called investigation team look more like a group of college students than professionals who wrote a book and give lectures. The sub cast is an ensemble of characters that are must cast and not needed, unless they become fodder. The persons interviewed really didn't offer any facts or proofs of existence of aliens or monsters. I'm in the middle of this movie and still waiting for something that won't make me groan or talk to the screen.
I'm a fan of all kinds of movies, and I've watched -- and enjoyed! -- my fair share of bad movies. This was not a bad movie. In fact, it was not a movie at all. You see, in order or me to consider this a movie, something would have had to happen. I mean, like, anything. I kept waiting. There were signs throughout that it might turn into a movie. A couple of scenes seemed like they might be going somewhere interesting, and I thought -- OK, now maybe we have a story developing. But no, not really. Even the presence of certain basic sci-fi tropes -- spooky aliens and mysterious, unexplained phenomena -- couldn't push this thing into "movie" territory. If it was so-bad-it-was-good, that would have been one thing. But, sadly, it was just... lacking.
In the end, it feels like everyone was trying hard -- the acting wasn't awful, the fx weren't worth complaining about. But, my god, there just wasn't any kind of story here.
