Season 6 must surely get better from here...

I'm a huge fan of Veep having watched S1-5 at least twice but thought this season premiere was decidedly mediocre, with thin story lines that jumped around and had no substance. I'm hoping it gets back to winning ways shortly. Only faithful bag man Gary was at his hilarious best, whilst not (in my opinion) a good episode I am still looking forward to the rest of the season.

    What Happened to VEEP

I loved the first 5 seasons. I am a huge fan of this show. Been waiting for 1 year to see Selina somehow comes back to office since that was the last line of the 5th season. But this 6 season somehow feels lost and not the same since she is not in office, but that's what the show is about right VEEP not some lame ex president going through absurd post presidential crisis no one wants to see this.

This show works well when all the characters are in the same job or office supporting Selina. When the trailer aired i was disappointed since all the characters are not with Selina, but when i saw this episode all the characters are in different jobs and its just not funny anymore. They spew some garbage explicit words to make the show funny. It has its bits and pieces of funny moments but you feel its not the same show as it was. That is not what the show is about.

They should go back and watch the first 5 seasons themselves and then see what worked for them. If this season ends without Selina going back to office it would be the worst season of all the comedy shows in history.

    Big disappointment !!
