One thing I liked about this episode is that it's not all about the cowboy cop; Murtaugh gets a few shining moments in the case. It's a good emphasis on the team, and their partnership is slowly working out the bugs.
Still, it's not all yuks and explosions. One of the most hard-hitting scenes is Riggs' opening bar fight. Heartbreaking in its savagery. With Rog already ditching his heart monitor, Riggs will have to balance out eventually; it's just a question of when.
