    Alligator Man

As the final episode of Season 1 ended with Earn in his lock up garage. That was the only thing in common with the first episode of Season 2. Earn is thrown out of his garage and is homeless again.

The opening moments had a Pulp Fiction vibe to it. Two guys chat, one is playing Fifa and they go out for a drive by meal that turns out to be a drive by shooting. It is Robbin' season in the run up to Christmas.

Paper Boi sends out Earn and Darius to visit to Earn's uncle, 'The Alligator Man' because he keeps an alligator in the bathroom. He has also allegedly kidnapped his girlfriend and the police have been called.

On the way Darius spooks Earn about a notorious alt right killer called Florida Man.

As always with Atlanta it is expect the unexpected, you never know how any one episode will go.

    Great to be back...

If there is one show in this world that started off with a blast and continued that momentum throughout the entirety of its season, it was the first season of "Atlanta." I love every single episode of that season, even though some episodes were clearly better than others. However, every single episode has a special nuance to it and was created with love and creativity. There was so much to take away from the show and I really do believe that a new classic was born with that first season. So, I was obviously excited to finally get a second season after more than a year's wait, but with everything that Donald Glover has on his schedule, it's not that hard to understand why he had to move some things around. However, now he is back with another season of "Atlanta," and the first episode was a lot of the things that I knew from the previous season, mixed up with a lot of new things that promise an exciting season to come.

The subtitle of this season is "Robbin' Season" and the opening sets that up in a big way. I was very surprised to see how this season opened and to see how things have changed for everyone who lives under the same circumstances as our main crew. The opening also teased a season with a little more grit to it than the freshman season, and I do believe that it is going in the right direction, and of course, I think that there is a reason to the obvious shift in tone, and I can't wait to see what will be in store for Earnest and the rest of the crew that I have grown to love over the first ten episodes of this show.

And how great it was to be introduced to these characters once again. They are very much at the same place they were when we left them, and it actually seems pretty realistic that they would be. These are not characters that are going through a lot of things, even in the episodes that we are presented with, so that the fact that they haven't really done anything between seasons only fit into what we know about the characters. I will say that it was great to see these actors perfrom again, because they are insanely good. Donald Glover gives one of the best performances he has given as the character in this episode, and it was strangely more emotional than I thought it would be, even though there were definitely a lot of jokes involved with his character.

I won't go that much into the comedic writing, because it is brilliant as always. I will say that the season introduces some interesting characters right off the bat, which I loved. I have always enjoyed the weird angle of this show, and with the introduction of the Alligator Man, as well as the Florida Man, we are in for something that cannot be compared to anything that we have ever seen on the show, when it comes to the eccentric characters that are involved. I am excited to see what else we are going to get in the season.

The only flaw that this episode has is that there is a lot of secret concerning one specific part of the plot, which everyone will understand when they see the episode. It's not so much the secrets that were the flaw, but it was what happened with that aspect. It's kind of dropped to the side at the end of the episode without a real explanation of what was ever going on. I loved the episode, but that was an aspect I could have done without.

Great episode that encapsulates the spirit of the show

Honestly surprised to see that this episode doesn't have a higher rating (even though the rating is still good). The music, the plot and the ending, everything is so hood in a funny way and so Atlanta. Katt Williams guest appearance is fantastic and as always he delivers. Probably my favorite episode through out the whole show. Watch it if you haven't yet! This is the first episode review I've ever written because I felt I had to do this episode Justice after seeing the rating and reviews.

I have nothing more to add that I feel I should actually include in my interview so I wrote this short paragraph to reach the required minimum character limit. But seriously, watch this episode!

Fantastically strange in a surprisingly grounded yet dreamlike way

This episode was wonderful. It was funny, action packed, Katt Williams was an absolute treat as were our main cast as per usual, the script was particularly tight knit and satisfying this episode. What else can I say?
