Double Date

This is supposed to be a silly movie and silly it was indeed. I appreciated it not being a cookie cutter overdone type of movie and I actually came to like the characters and crazy scenes. I say give it a chance, It's not pass out from laughing funny but it will entertain you.

Promising premise, disappointing delivery. It starts well and hooks you in. Sadly, all the motivation to watch the film is lost after 20 mins. However, the viewer sticks to it while hoping it might get better. There was so much potential to be visually bonkers, it just falls flat. Michael Socha plays the most annoying and despicable lad. While not a bad film, Double Date is sadly forgettable. Special mention: the excellent soundtrack, Kelly Wenham kicks ass literally and Georgia Groome is full of charm.

I enjoyed this, simple and easy going, well paced and straight to the point, yes its violent but it also has some humour as well, one to watch on a lazy evening..

A double date itself can be a nice thing. Unless you are going on a date with someone wicked I guess. So we do get an introduction to our two female co-leads and know what they are capable of. And then we get a sort of Joey-Chandler combo with our male main characters (from the TV Show "Friends", in case you don't know those names). And there is a lot of humor amongst the horror.

There are some decent effects and quite a few of the jokes are really good. Not everything works good enough though to make this a top dog contender though. We do have a certain path, that is predictable, but I wouldn't hold this too much against the movie. You know from the get go, where this is leading. What it does is almost holding that fine line between horror and comedy throughout. If that is your thing, enjoy

This is your basic b horror movie. Plot not interesting whatsoever. If they added comedy to this movie it would have been much more entertaining. Off the cuff it starts hinting comedy/horror but fades quickly to low budget action horror(but no scares horror) Watchable but certainly not to watch again.
