I'm an hour into this thing and there still aren't any werewolves! Dudes and dudettes! Attention! Do not by any circumstance watch this movie! The big question is, why does the guy from Philly have a southern accent?
The cover of "Werewolves of the Third Reich" is highly attractive and promising - and that is all. The film is not a "trash movie" (such as "Braindead", "The Toxic Avenger" or "Piranha") but a complete garbage. The story and the screenplay are laughable in the bad sense. The cast is ridiculous, highlighting the ham Lee Bane, an annoying "actor" with terrible accent. Nothing works in this movie, the special effects are worst that those from the Sci-fi Chanel and the mask of the werewolf is terrible. See the DVD cover and forget the flick. My vote is two.

I have to admit that I harbored absolutely zero expectations to this 2017 movie as I sat down to watch it. Why? Well, simply because of the movie's title and its cover. But still, I opted to give the movie a fair chance, and thus opted to check out what writer and director Andrew Jones had to offer.
The storyline in the movie, as written by Andrew Jones, was pretty bland. The narrative was rather slow paced and without much of anything overly interesting happening, the movie just felt extraordinarily slow and sluggish.
Some of the dialogue was just downright cringeworthy. And I loathe World War II themed movies where the Germans speak English with a thick added accent to indicate they are speaking German. It absolutely ruins a movie. Just have them actually speak German.
I was, of course, not familiar with a single actor or actress in the movie. And that was actually a good thing, as I do enjoy watching new and unfamiliar talents on the screen when I sit down to watch movies. The acting performances were overall bland.
Of course I didn't have high hopes for "Werewolves of the Third Reich", and with good reason, because this movie was not great.
My rating of writer and director Andrew Jones's 2017 movie "Werewolves of the Third Reich" lands on a two out of ten stars.

Very low production value all the way around.
Poor acting.
Poor set locations.
Poor props.
Poor special effects.
Most important of all, wretched story.
In my opinion there are many elements of this movie lifted from Inglourious Basterds. Sadly, they are poorly executed.
If you enjoy watching horrible movies and making fun of them with friends, this movie will provide plenty to critique.

This. . . is. . . horrendous! It's obviously low budget. Very low. That in itself is certainly not a detractor. But Gawd Damn! When we "enter" Mengele's concentration camp their are exactly four young adults that are supposed to be the entire POW camp. Two men Two woman. Modern looking women with long stringy hair parted on the side. The "blond" had 5 inches of exposed dark roots. Apparently they couldn't even manage to dye her hair one way or the other. It's like they took what little they remember from high school history class and threw it in here and there and decided to mix in a bit of The Island of Dr. Moreau. This is not a compliment at all. I would recommend you save yourselves and choose something else; but you are gonna do what you're gonna do. 2 of 10 stars because I don't like to flunk people completely. - TriviaIn real life, Josef Mengele worked at Auschwitz, while Ilse Koch, as her nickname "the Bitch of Buchenwald" suggests, worked at Buchenwald. They were never married, as portrayed in the film. Koch's husband, Karl-Otto Koch, was commandant of Buchenwald. He was transferred to the Majdanek camp in 1941, but Ilse stayed at Buchenwald.
- GoofsThe prisoners in the Nazi camp still have their hair. Prisoners, when entering the camp, would have had their hair cut extremely short, to prevent the spread of lice, for example.
