Way better than 6.6/10

Not sure what show the other folks were watching. This is Sunny through and through and a great way to express a big moment in Philly history.

A love letter to Philly

Besides the ups and downs, the jokes and de ridiculousness the last minutes of this episode are pretty wonderful and you can see the love for the city that this guys have. Ultimately it's about embracing who the people of Philly are, with their flaws and all. The ending, with the videos of the Eagles fans, is just what ties it all together.

Didnt work out the way they split it

Shoulda been a straight chronological two-parter, splitting the previous Charlie-centric ep with this one.

Where's Dennis?

His absence is extremely noticeable. Made a mediocre episode even worse.

There is still hope

This still wasn't a great episode by the shows standards, but, it did make me smile. I like this second part a lot more than the first part last week. It was still a bit empty and disorganised, but, I did laugh a few times. I think if they had completely abandoned Charlie's separate storyline, included Dennis, and cut all of the unnecessary secondary characters, then this could have been a really great episode. I think the show still has some good episodes left in it, but. I would get rid of the new writers and get right back to basics.

Mac said it when he said "We never win"

Do not listen to the haters. This episode wasn't truly about being funny or outrageous. It was about the Gang FINALLY getting a win. The synopsis of the show is that they always lose, no matter what. Sure there could have been better jokes, and as someone stated, made into a one hour show. It wasn't about that. If you're a fan of this show, you'll enjoy this episode. The Gang won. Of course it's paying service to the fans of Philly, the show is based in Philly. Grow up haters, just enjoy the show. The episode was based on them winning.

One of my favorites

Not an eagles fan but definitely felt their excitement of bringing the joy of Phily on that amazing moment with so much creativity and great jokes. I laughed out loud many times on this one.

Perfect

This episode is extremely self indulgent but it's also the best depiction of what it is like to be a sports fan that there is.

What is going on

Three stinkers in a row...this season has been a huge disappointment aside from maybe 3-4 episodes, and this one is easily the worst...even worse than last week. The writers they've brought on this season clearly don't get it, the ship is slowly sinking...maybe it's time to hang it up.

Yet another forced, not natural episode at all

The show gets worse

Almost the entirety of season 13 was a disappointment. What makes this episode particularly disappointing is the promise that it shows. Straight away we are shown a number of previous guest stars. But very quickly they squander those opportunities.

The main problem with this episode is the lack of humour. It's just not funny. That's basically it. Everything feels forced. None of the dialogue flows. Even a classic situation like the waiter not being recognised fails to land, because everybody has had so much plastic surgery that they can't produce normal facial expressions any more.

I found myself actually empathising with the waiter, which is how you know it's gone wrong. It's an episode with Pondy, and Pondy's the coolest! But he's barely in it. He might as well not have been in it. Same goes for Cricket, and every other guest star.

I don't care about whatever team is playing in whatever sport this is, and I get that the creators probably do care. Previous episodes such as The World Series Defense or The Gang Gets Invincible were hilarious.

Ultimately it doesn't matter what the subject matter is, it just has to be funny, and this wasn't funny. Excluding Dennis from the the whole episode and Charlie from almost all of it probably didn't help, but the main problem was the dialogue, situations, script, and how it was read. It just wasn't like the gang. I wonder why it had a female director who had nothing to do with the show.
