A Comprehensive Commentary on Current Movie Culture
What an episode.
It feels like they accumulated a lot of anger about the current movie/tv culture and let it all out in this one episode.
I have to admit, that it mirrors my opinion on that topic - so this might bias the rating.
However, this shows again how CLEVER its always sunny can be.
The whole message of this episode is summarized in a short monolog by Dennis - i think the first intelligent thing i heard in a while. Not to say the show isnt socially critical and usually each episode has its message. But this one came right out of frustration and you got a glimps behind the action.
All in all a comprehensive commentary on current film culture.
Also the first episode of IASIP that I HAD TO review on IMDB.

one of the most underrated episodes of the show
For me every joke lands, doesn't feel padded out and its just amazing overall!
that applies for all the episodes of the show but this one seems to get a lot of hate and i dont know why!

Back to the roots
I don't understand some of the bad reviews of this episode. While I'll be the first one to admit that season 13 wasn't really that funny and I was worried that the same level of mediocracy from season 13 will spill into season 14. However, I couldn't have been more wrong! So far, season 14 is amazing!
It has that same familiar "feel" of the gang from earlier seasons.
As far as this episode goes, I think it was even funnier than the first one. They way they tackle current hot subjects and make fun of everyone, while being hypocritical is what this gang is about. The jokes were excellent, I laughed throughout the entire episode! go watch it!
The gang finally was able to get Dolph Lundgren
It's always sunny has been referencing Dolph Lundgren for many seasons now. It's great to see that their budget and popularity has now afforded them the ability to actually hire Dolph to show real clips of Thundergun. I know this must've been a Highwater Mark for the creators, and as a fan I'm also equally excited. This episode was great, I would've given it at seven but it gained an extra point for its great social commentary on the PC culture that's happening right now. For a moment, I thought it's always sunny was becoming PC itself. But luckily, that is not the case and one of my favorite shows can continue without corruption. This episode is great and a true return to form.
