after the funny but bland premier episode of this show I wasn't sure if I would enjoy it or not but gave it a second chance and I wound up glad I did I laughed and had a great time watching this everyone is pretty much likable here his 'boys' are hilarious and his moma is quote worthy and lovable and I adore lea Michele here she is beautiful and hilarious even Courtney himself is likable I recommend trying this one out if your looking for good family fun on Tuesday night
after watching the first episode I have mixed feelings here I feel like this is a heartfelt sweet show that's really trying and if continues going in this direction we are in for a very nice show here however this isn't a perfect show there isn't enough comedy in my opinion for it to fit in the category of a comedy however its too much fun to be a drama its like it hasn't yet decided what it wants to be but I will wait and see what happens and plus I have a huge crush on lea Michele now just like before when I saw her for the first time I would watch the shown for her alone if I had too but I hope the show progresses as it goes on I have faith in THE MAYOR
What a great show! I was flipping channels and found the series premiere tonight and was absolutely delighted by this comedy. Brandon Micheal Hall is a charming, fast talking, sightly self-centered Courtney Rose. Courtney, by trying to promote his music with his run for office, ends up the mayor of his town.
This comedy has a lot of heart, and the heart and common sense are centered in Courtney's mom, played by Yvette Nicole Brown. She is fabulous! She reels in her son when he goes too far, and gives him the inspiration and advice and firm talking-to he needs--along with a lot of love and confidence. What a great mom.
I was disappointed tonight when I flipped to this show and came here to IMDb. I wanted to find out a little more about it, and I saw that 42 people had rated show for an average of 5.6 before the show even aired. Come on, people, don't do that to this delightful show. Give it a shot. you'll laugh, you'll think, and you'll feel good when it is done.

I watched the first episode of this and all in all I was pleased with what I saw there were some funny moments and some serious too I loved the gorgeous lea Michele she is just too sexy for her own damn good and I liked the story and lesson of how some times doing things for the wrong reason can have cocequinces and the mother is perfect love yevet nichole brown as it is but here she just seems fantastic I will wait till next week to make my full decision
Well at first I thought that I wouldn't keep watching it, but since it only had a one season, I decided to give it a try.
It could have been better, yes, but it was still interesting. It had the same plot almost every episode, but the plot was interesting. But I do understand why they didn't get a second season, there wasn't really anything new they could've given to people, the plot would've still be the same every episode.
