I already like Jim Norton so I'm slightly biased.
What is going on with Ricky Gervais's noise was my first observation? No spoilers, the end part of the intro was epic funny.
It passed the 7-minute test, witch is kind of the deal breaker for my Nintendo generation attention span, if it's not funny within the first 7 minutes I'm on to something else, Jim's stand-up give me some nice big laughs throughout, good show Jim, keep it up... and also loving the radio show/podcast/YouTube thing.

So not only unfunny jokes but two (if not more) are stolen ones too.
And he did them in order so you can't even pretend this was just the biggest coincidence in history.
Sorry dude, you're unfunny and not charismatic, though I hope you try again better and actually do a good special next time.
EDIT: After rewatching this drunk I gotta admit its not that bad. Keep doing what you're doing, man. I'm changing my score from 1 to 5 because he did make me laugh in the 2nd half and he does great banter with the audience. Still not thrilled about the potentially stolen jokes but then again idk who told them first.

Definitely Jim Nortons best special so far! Topical, Personal and Dirty as always Great Crowd Work(That poor girl that saw her parents sleeping together!) Best Intro I've ever seen in a comedy special!!! Hope he keeps on getting better!! And gets more Mainstream recognition along the way. Hard worker...+20 year stand up,radio and podcast host, author, actor and full time pervert!
I stumbled upon this stand-up comedy special on Netflix, and I wasn't familiar with the comedian, so I decided to give it a go nonetheless.
It turns out that Jim Norton's sense of comedy was somewhat, nay a lot different than mine because this was mostly just below-the-belt jokes, which is so very 1990s for the stand-up comedy scene.
It had all been done before and by now sex jokes are just not that funny any more, at least not to me. So I must admit that I didn't particularly enjoy most of this stand-up comedy show. I am not a prude or anything, but sex jokes is just so cliché for this genre.
With this show watched, then I can't really claim that I wasn't particularly impressed with the comedy talent of Jim Norton. There are far better stand-up shows available out there. And if you are new to stand-up shows, then "Jim Norton: Mouthful of Shame" is not suitable for a proper introduction to the genre.

As title says, I forced myself to sit through this hour long "comedy" special. Netflix has recently put out comedy specials for several comedians and I'm someone that likes to sit though these specials and get a good laugh. I think I was 5 minutes into disaster when I realized how unfunny she actually is. I literally had to force myself to sit through the next 50 min just because I wanted to give her the benefit of the doubt that she could possibly turn things around. Boy was I wrong- not only did she not make me chuckle once, the longer the show went on the more pathetic she looked. I'm certain he did well cashing in on this special but I almost feel as if netflix should issue me.
