Not sure what all the 1* reviews are about! This is pretty much the cartoon I LOVED as a kid with some live action stuff added in. Sure, the acting isn't great, but neither was the voice acting in the original. This is EXACTLY as I remember it it. Look... if you want a real story about people fighting a cyber villain IN A COMPUTER I'm not sure where you should go. But if you want a reboot of Reboot this ain't bad! Seriously if you want to find a true story about this subject matter go watch the Matrix movies because if you believe the 2nd and 3rd of those were good you probably believe the earth is flat.

I have read a number of the one star reviews and understand some of the complaints. I was not a dedicated fan of the 1990's Reboot, but I did watch it somewhat. This series is definitely different from that series. I was actually concerned that this was going to be some SJW piece of garbage like so many other things these days ( i.e. Star Wars The Last Jedi). There is one brief scene that they had to show a 'Gender Neutral Bathroom' sign which I thought was totally unnecessary. Otherwise, the stories are interesting. The re-do of Megabyte was pretty cool. The integration of live action with the computer world a new take. I am about half way through the first season, so I am going to give it a fair chance.

I found this show cool, I don't understand why people are giving so many bad reviews. I read somewhere that they were fake, which honestly makes sense.
I think a lot more new and interesting things happen in season 2 but I also liked season 1. It's a nice show and I have seen a lot worse shows than this

I know that most of the reviews are negative , but really , give the show a chance. Season 2 Episode 10 I think gives the story like hope. You have to remember the cast are still High School kids and not adults like in the original. With that kind of thread many adult themes cannot be explored. Not only that but , there are only so many times you can "Kill or threaten to Kill Cyber Space". I would still love to see story lines more complexity and actual explanations about how Cyber Space was created and how code interacts with human and A.I..(etc).. Include other hacker groups and entities all vying for control of (CS).
Help the show to grow, don't just boohoo or lament.

If ones takes a second and reads the tv rating for this show, they will find it rated TV-Y7. I am certain not a single person that presented one of these atrocious reviews below fits in that age range. This program is geared towards the age group of minor children, not full grown adults seeking a remake of a childhood show. For those that fit in the age appropriate category or those not looking for a blast from the past, this is a decent show. Literally. Its decent in that it's not sending kids away from the tele with less innocence than prior to sitting before it. Nor is it as horrible in creator context. The acting is definitely standard to Disney and Nickelodeon quality and the concept is great! It's a digital age folks!! What kid in this generation wouldn't love to be one of these 4 kids going into cyber space in one of those bad @$$ suits?!?!? (There are a large number of adults well into the original Tron generation that would as well!!) I have an 11 year old son who certainly would! In fact He told me to write this:
"This may be a little 'not original' as they say. Seeing how they used the same name but put in new characters & such. I think they were trying to change it up a bit. And I think some people didn't like that very much. But I liked it a lot!"
Doesn't that matter?? We were bummed when we realized it ended and no one knows where the cube is or if Austin's Dad is saved from the black hole...
So when you read these other reviews that are so overboard as if the show was made for them, the adults...remember the shows target audience with its age appropriateness and the words of the little dude above. He's their target demographic and who they made the show for. So, to the actors, directors, cast, crew and creators... thank you!

My kids love this show and that's all that really matters to me. They're not old enough to have snooty opinions about the quality of the CGI. I hope there's another season!
