Didn't Like "ARGGH!" but "Garage Banned" Makes Up for It

Another pretty good Lori episode. Admittedly, when I finished watching "Arrgh You for Real," I switched the show off, expecting to watch this episode the next day. But then I saw some people already talking about the episode, so it made me realized I messed up. Thank goodness for replay. I actually liked this episode more than the one revolving "Arrgh." Basically in this episode, Lori - fed up with having to share the house with her siblings - decides to move into the garage. While it seems great at first, she realizes that being on her own isn't all that it's cracked up to be.

There was several moments in this episode that I liked. For one, Lana sleeping with Lori after having a nightmare was pretty adorable. Oh, and Lucy and Lynn fighting each other because Lynn accidentally broke one of the fangs off of Lucy's vampire bust. It really reminded me of Cody's relationship with his Ken doll in the SuperMarioLogan videos. The less I say about that, the better. But, seriously....Lisa was scary in this episode. More so than I can say that she normally is. I mean asking Lola if she could keep her hair after it fell off in one of her botched experiments, and then trying to harvest one of Lincoln's kidneys (after she had apparently taken his appendix once), just really, really make me more terrified of Lisa and her callousness. I mean, yeah, its' funny, but my god.....Besides that, this episode had me in stitches the entire time. Especially when Lori came up with several schemes in order to move back into the house because she was too embarrassed to admit that she didn't feel at home in the garage. I also found her being frightened somewhat adorable as well especially when she was trying to defend for herself. I also didn't expect that one moment where she ended up passing gas; while toilet humor is mostly stupid for me, I wasn't anticipating that. Of course, it was also a call back to "Making the Case" in which her flatuence problem is mentioned.

Once again, I ended up actually liking Lori in an episode centered around her. I liked how she felt that since she was nearing in age to become an adult, she was convinced that she could make it on her own, but she started to miss having to tend to her siblings with their problems. While it is irritating at times, I got the sense that that's what she liked about living with her siblings. They make her life more entertaining. It really reminds me of "Squidville" in which Squidward loses his sanity because of the sameness of the town populated by octopuses (Squidward is one, btw). Her time in the garage made her appreciate that. Other than that, definitely a great episode that makes up for a more "meh" episode like "Arrgh You for Real!"
