So GOOD it made me ANGRY!

This is the second suicide squad animated movie in a row (and the umpteenth dc animated movie) that is VASTLY SUPERIOR to the live action debacles this same company has put out. I was so mad watching this, DC has this great writing staff on payroll, why don't they do better with the live action? The plot, pacing, and action scenes were GREAT, i.e , the exact opposite of what they put in cinemas. The animation could have been a bit better, but was good enough that it didn't deter from the overall enjoyment. This thing just zipped along and was such a joy to watch. Looking forward to the next animated feature, which I already know will be better than whatever sad, live action still-birth they currently have in production.

    No kids movie

I started watching expecting to fall asleep midway. Instead I stayed awake way past my bedtime because the story was so interesting. It's best if you watched Flashpoint Paradox first (which is another excellent movie by the way), but it's not really required. a bit gory, but it's refreshing to see a movie where it's not afraid to kill important characters. Why is DC animated movies so good, yet the live action movies so bad I wonder.

    Better than the Rest

So I just finished Suicide: Hell to Pay. It amazes me that a cartoon did a better job at Suicide Squad than the movie. Warner Bros. animation needs to give their film department some tips.

On the negatives, some of the dialogue was corny. But that's a small nitpick in an otherwise great animated film. The voice acting was pretty spot on. I cant wait for the next DC animated film.

    not fantastic but not aweful

Loved the over arching story and some of the individual motivations, but some of the scenes and dialogue were very generic.

What The 2016 Film Should Have Been

Suicide Squad: Hell To Pay is an R-Rated animated movie that basically does better than the live-action film from 2016, which despite making a big return at the box office, was heavily panned by critics. The story is good, the characters are accurate to the comic, and there is blood. Lots of blood. If you are looking for something to wash the bad taste of the 2016 film out, this is it.

This is the fourth DC Animated to be rated R by the MPAA (Motion Picture Association Of America) after Batman: The Killing Joke (2016), Justice League Dark (2017) and Batman: Gotham by Gaslight (2018). It is however the second film to be given an MA15+ rating by the ACB (Australian Classification Board) after Batman: The Killing Joke (2016).

Captain Boomerang: [referring to Waller] You don't think she actually believes those stories, do you?

      Killer Frost: What?

Captain Boomerang: Well, that thing about you being able to avoid Hell.

Killer Frost: I have no idea. I always thought this was Hell, Captain Kangaroo.

Captain Boomerang: Hey, first of all, that's offensive. I'll tell you what, if one of us deserves Hell, it's Waller. And the bitch knows it. Always playing God.

Harley Quinn: I'm not worried, I know I'm going to Heaven. Anyone who can stand Mr. J deserves mercy.

Captain Boomerang: Ha! The problem is, darling, you have to die to find out if the card works. It would be embarrassing if it didn't. What about you, gunslinger? Do you think the card will wipe away the blood you've shed? Or don't you believe in Heaven?

      [laughs sarcastically]

Deadshot: I believe in Heaven, Boomer. Every time you close your mouth.

Bronze Tiger: You joke about Heaven and Hell, Deadshot. Believe me, they exist. Not a morning goes by that I don't wake up wondering if this will be my judgment day. Whether I'll end up with the woman I love or face the lake of hellfire with the same beast that took me there. The only thing anyone can hope for is divine intervention. Only by the grace of God can we be saved from the eternal curse of all the blood shed. Everything else is pure stories.

Captain Boomerang: I think the card is not superfluous.
