Paean to the People

The last two episodes (particularly the final one) was so full of holes that they negated all the excitement and tension of what went before. So disappointing.

Pretty good serie overall, but this lame Moscow scenes filmed in Budapest are silly...

Apt ending to a season that followed a different scenario from the usual Middle-Eastern terrorist menace. Started with an unemployed and stressed Carrie, trying to investigate a US internal crises and ended with a full-fledged international conspiracy and the much-maligned President showing a softer side.

Definitely more enjoyable than the previous season. Carrie's issues were not overplayed, but are still present to add some suspence about the next and final season.

Once again the series pivots from Islamist terrorism to Russian interference in American politics, and they did a great job with it.

The acting is top notch across the boards. Claire Daines is outstanding in many of this season's episodes. The writing is top notch. Various plot surprises come into play, especially in the last two episodes. If you have followed Homeland all along I predict you will find this season very satisfying. It was for me.
