Finally, a worthy series finale!
It leaves you wanting more and that's because is THAT good!
We could easily have one more season or a movie or whatever! Let's not fall for that...it was a perfect ending and it was definitely worth being a fan since 2011.
Cheers to the writers, Claire Danes and, of course, Mandy Patinkin!

Greetings from Lithuania.
Today I'm sad and happy - sad because probably my favorite show of all time has ended - but happy that it did end on a very a high note. There were many good shows that were ruined at the end, or never even did have a proper ending, well "Homeland" is a great exception - the finale as well as last season were superb in ever possible way. 8 seasons, 96 episodes and almost 10 years - this is the only show i watched religiously every week - and that says a lot today in a overcrowded market of great series.
I won't spoil anything about the ending, just to say that i liked it very much. It was plausible, intense, surprising (yet realistic!), very involving and emotional. I did not see that outcome, but was really happy of how things turned out at the end.
Overall, "Homeland" wasn't perfect in its 10 years run, but even "Breaking Bad" had its weaker moments. But even in those, i liked "Homeland" as a whole. And on its highest moments, this show scored home runs like no other. Superbly intelligently written throughout, amazingly acted by Claire Danes, Mandy Patinkin and then F. Murray Abraham, Rupert Friend and the one and only Damian Lewis - its all those elements which made me return to it every single week in 10 years of its run. You can't ask for more.
Thank you "Homeland", for the memories!

The best ending to a series, ever!! I'm sad that it's over, but so happy with the conclusion. Wish it would continue on the "big screen."

A great finale to a well, done final season. Artistically rendered. What a terrific series.
Brilliant finale.
Near the top as one of the best series finales of all time. I take pride in trying to guess where things are going, plot twists, etc. but I never saw this coming. Not only suspenseful, topical, and entertaining, but it connects on an emotional level I never expected. Kudos to the writers and other talent. A special shout out to Mandy Patinkin and Claire Danes. Seriously. Wow.
Also agree with other reviewers, it definitely left open the door for either additional season, or even better, a spin-off.
Like the title says of this review, I hate when a series that I'm addicted to says goodbye. But goodbye my good friend. Hope to see you again.
