It's not going to blow anyone's mind but Bennett's war was a solid delivery for a movie.
It's a combination of a sports movie and a inspiring tale about living your best life.
I can honestly say that I've never seen another movie due motorcross as good as this movie. Well, it's not like it's mind blowing it's just that if you love motorcross this film does it as well as any other.
Seen better but...
It's a good watchable movie if you have nothing else on the table.
Soldier, injured in Afghanistan regains his motorcycle mojo and saves his Dad's farm.
This movie definitely falls into the casual watching territory. It has all the familiar tropes of triumph over adversity but it never really explores anything to any great length. It has a 70's made for TV vibe about it which i found quite endearing .The motocross racing scenes never really get the adrenaline going which is a shame because it's certainly a visually exciting sport. Strapping a go pro to a rider's chest only goes so far. The editing has to be snappy and revealing of the different positions of the riders. The characters in this all had the possibility of being really interesting but they needed to be a little more complete. Underneath all this there's really a rather good movie trying to get out. Put it in the Sunday afternoon watching bracket.

If you see the movie, you'll understand. It's not about what you have to do or can do, it's what you want to do and what you have to give to achieve it. Legend has it that in the past they call it effort and tenacity. Only those who know that the important thing is not that you have and that you get it, but how much you give to those you love. For me the pain only reminds me that I must do more, my daughter sees the effort to stand day by day, I help those who can help me and that makes me great. I'm not a Veteran, my admiration and respect, because they went for an idea, a cause, sometimes it seems meaningless until you remember that you had to do in school to maintain respect and power. Some were for the War, some for humanitarian aid, but it was they represent me in my comfort, in mi home. There was no need to go to a desert, I just made a safety mistake, ups!! Two years in a chair and I'm standing and my daughter saw me, she doesn't see someone who gives up, my doctor says the same thing as you, but he doesn't take my helplessness, Sees the movie well and comes back and thinks. It's not Avengers, but for me, it is.
The film was better than I thought, and got really into it. But for me the ending was a flop. It just seemed rushed, like they had to cut it off. I don't understand movies doing that! You spend alot of time and money pulling the watcher in, then leave it with a quick ending.. it's so frustrating.
An inspirational feel good story about an injured army guy over coming odds. How can you not enjoy a show like that? I've seen worse acting, plots and movies on blockbuster films, so slow your roll on leaving the bad reviews. See the movie and leaving feeling good. :)
