When the Postables discover an antique vase that was never delivered 18 years earlier, they learn one of the daughters sent it to an antique dealer to sell and save the family farm. Eighteen years later, the farm is in trouble again, and it's up to the Postables to prove ownership and help the family. ,
I thought this was a lovely story. And let's face it, Hallmark is earning some big ratings for these family-friendly films. The climate of the country has something to do with it. Personally this was a great alternative to the news.
The acting doesn't even try to be serious. It's quirky and nerdy. The girls and the ladies on the farm were quirky and lovable too.
The story seemed a little light. This was only my second time with this series so I was surprised by the ending, but not all of it. There is the usual nerdy humor.
While yes it's great to see our respective couples blossoming - there was just something missing.
The crew has a new work space and stumbles upon a vase of possibly/probably exponential value! We are also introduced to Rita's parents who it looks like may be moving to Denver permanently. So maybe we'll see them more?!
The meat of the story is helping the family heal that thought they lost the vase and bringing them together once again. Will the sisters be reunited? Will they save the family farm? What will happen to the vase? All those answers and more in this offering. Here's hoping there are more stories to come from the DLO and they are better than this one.

- GoofsThe bottle of milk that Norman said he milked himself could not be raw milk straight from the cow. Raw milk is not white but more of a cream color and has as much as 1/3 heavy cream on the top. Milk that white and with no cream at all has to be pasteurized.
- Quotes
Oliver O'Toole: Ms. McInerny, would you like to go steady with me?
Shane McInerney: [jokingly in a southern accent] Oh. Why Mr. O'Toole, this is all so very sudden.
[In her normal voice]
Shane McInerney: Oh, you're serious.
