The only one who could act was a little girl who came up to Crystal at the diner who gave her spare change. The grandmother was ok. The two main characters could be decent with some acting lessons but to be fair the dialogue was hard to pull off for the characters. Anyway, there are much better similar movies out there.
It's not one of the entertaining worst films, it's the worst that you wish you'd never seen. I stumbled across this while doing a bit of a rabbit hole on streaming for London brothers films and this is one Jason's. I've always thought Jason was the more sturdy actor of the two and it's still true. His talent is wasted in this movie as the crooked cop who haunts a drug house.
The movie is aimless from an audiences perspective almost like if the creative force behind it were writing and producing it while on tranquilizers. It's harmless but, there are so many things that are at least a little bit more entertaining as in having at least a minor amount of artistic intent behind them. This reads like a generic idea with a series of dramatic scenarios having no scripted dialogue and virtually none of the cast should do improv. If there was a script...they should've gotten a better one. 99 percent of the people who start this movie won't finish the first 5 minutes and I don't blame them because the movie is aimless and it only becomes moreso as it moves on.

I saw a few reviews before watching the movie- and they all mostly said the same thing "bad acting". So, just like the film "Eight Days" I has to go check it out and all I have too ay is...
Wow?
Wow with a question mark because, while the actors are bad- and so of the dialogue is exaggerated- I feel as if this movie could've actually went places had it been treated better- and with a higher budget along with better actors- and maybe even a few changes in the dialogue. But overall, I love how "mature" Crystal seems for her age- because that's the reality of neglected kids.
They grow up faster.

This film is missing vital parts that would make it a somewhat tolerable watch. Mostly because of the bad acting. The plot which seemed slow in some parts. And there are A lot of scenes that were not necessary. A few repetitive parts and the ending seemed more whimsical than the rest of the movie. It gains points for the story but looses them for poor execution. All in all I believe the plot could have use a bit more organization. Also the characters need a bit more personality. I believe the film could have been stellar with definitely better acting and a tweak to the plot. I unfortunately will never watch again and will give 1 out of 3 stars.
After watching this movie my hope is Jeremy Loudon pays his audition manager/agency out of his contract and sells himself to someone who can actually sell him. As the other spoiler reviews have advised this looks very much 'Blair Witch/Fargo' in the camera styling, I am sure the actors were given much leeway due to the only descent part of this movie; the plot. Had this been made into a book and not a movie I am sure the reviews would have been much better, and the story is why this review gets a four.
