They did it and they did it right. They all back with new generation, smooth and nice comback.
I love that we get a new portion of L word. Overall very presently surprised over how good it is, but still a lot, of room for improvement.
Amazing! It can only get better...
Feels a little daunting at first, whilst getting to know the new characters and a new plot.
Then the original ladies come back with more grit than ever and make you feel at home again.
Credit due for doing something new and for pushing boundaries - to make this a safer world for everyone to be themselves!
When you are a writer and focus on your work the world written is clearer. When it is produced/idea by actors they are not writers so you get more "I want to act that out" vibe instead of a good story. I was super mad first episode of second season and wrote review because I watched first season before starting second and it didn't link up well. Now I'm at end season 2 and it makes more sense but every episode is still vibe "I want to act that out" instead of good story and characters going on an arch driven ride.
Well perhaps if the actors could act??? Finley.. please. Worst actor. And from the amount of people who say the same. Ummm, yeah.
Jennifer B, best Actor on anything she does. Thank heavens she came back.
Otherwise, it's just ok. It's missing the spark that the original had.
From Dana , to Jenny to Marina to Helena.
Speaking of Helena, she was awesome. Wish she was back.

- TriviaKate Moennig was also a supporting character in the series, Ray Donovan (2013). In her character, Lena's, final appearance, she is seen boarding a plane to move to Los Angeles, a nod to Moennig's exit from the series to reprise her role as Shane. Weeks later, in the series premiere of The L Word: Generation Q, Moennig's character makes her first on-screen appearance exiting an airplane in Los Angeles, which she has just recently moved back to.
